  • I downloads Moves this week (http://www.moves-app.com/) and it's been fantastic. It's been really accurate, and as it looks so nice I've been more inclined to turn it on every morning and keep checking how much I've done :D It's on iOS and Android, give it a whirl!
  • I haven't lost a huge amount yet (but that's more due to my poor willpower when it comes to food!) but when I do DDP Yoga I feel so much better. Even after a few days, I feel stronger, more energetic and more flexible. Worth it even if weight-loss isn't someone's goal!
  • I almost certainly fall into the category of "that guy who doesn't really know what he's doing" - sadly, when I asked my gym for some sort of help, they told me their staff don't do that, in case something goes wrong. In a way, it's put me off. I was of the mindset that "at least I'm not on the couch, I'm giving it a go",…
  • I love Energy, it's possibly my favourite of the workouts so far (I haven't done them all). It's great whether I'm feeling lazy or energetic! Hope you enjoy the rest, it's definitely worth it!
  • Mine is open - if I know that someone can see what I'm eating, I'm a little more inclined to behave myself!
  • I've been meaning to try this, as I hear they're great! Another one to try is beetroot brownies, which sounds horrible is just as good!
  • Kinekt is nice, but I wish I'd avoided the Banoffee flavour - I hate artificially banana-flavoured things haha! The rest are great though.
  • Did you try this out gypsyrose? I was doing one of the old YRG workouts a few times a week recently and enjoyed it so much that I ordered a set of the new DDP Yoga DVDs. I really love it, but lately I haven't done as much as I should! It definitely feels like a good work-out and I can feel myself getting stronger and more…
  • Great post, completely agree with all of these. I've read positive things about having a "cheat day" once a week, what makes you disagree with that? Not picking an argument, just want to know which track to follow! Maybe I should stop using something I read in a book as an excuse to eat badly once a week... I'm…
  • I'd be interested in hearing any answers to this, as I'd like to start my day with a pretty protein-rich breakfast to reduce the temptation to snack throughout the day, but I struggle to find good options. Are protein shakes worthwhile, or more reserved for though who do a LOT of working out?
  • Ace idea Danny, I've been doing similar. I've been making Pad Thai quite a lot after work recently, it's amazing and much healthier than I expected! Pretty much just prawns, thinly sliced pork fillet (or chicken - could even ditch the meat and just use prawns if you prefer), beansprouts and whatever veg you fancy,…
  • At the risk of sounding patronising, do you have insoles or inserts for your shoes to support them? I got some last year and they made my shoes so much more comfortable :)
