  • I am going to Rome, Italy this summer and understand your feelings about your weight and being in another country. Personally, I would not diet persay, but instead, try to eat more foods in their unprocessed state and walking for exercise. When you travel across seas, you will find that people tend to rely on their two…
  • I have actually SLEPT in my workout clothes!!! Then when I wake up, I had no choice but to put on my tennis shoes and push play on the DVD player.
  • I think I might try it...as soon as I can get pass the fact there is no flour, sugar, butter, lol!
  • I have tried them, though not being conistent with them. I just finished my first bottle this morning. It did help me lose 8 lbs in december but do not know about January since I decided this year to only weig myself on th first day of the month. They do help with appetite, but I did find that after a few days I was hungry…
  • I have taken the pills once before when I was struggling with exercising. They did help with weight loss with exercise and diet, but from my experience, you will plateau after you stop them.
  • Thanks, just the much info I needed!
  • I just bought the SX brand from wal-mart for $47.77. It includes the strap and watch and I found it VERY helpful. It didn't hurt my pockets but is still high tech with the many functions. Also, if you are only wearing the watch and want to check your heart rate, there is not a special 'spot'' on the watch to check your…
  • I have tried this diet SEVERAL TIMES (I know it as the Cabbage Soup Diet). It may seem fine now but don't push it. I find now that when I try to do this particular diet, I do not drop any weight or inches. Matter of fact, the last two times I actually gained weight.
  • If you can keep p with him then keep doing it! You will definately see a huge difference in inched dropping, if not the weight!
  • I have had colonics before, matter of fact I have another appointment this week. In my experience, it helped with the side effects of adding too much fiber too soon to your diet. Only filtered water is used, so there is no side effects associated with any chemical reactions. Yes, you may have gas pains, but the colonic…
  • :flowerforyou: Good job on making the 20. The 30 pound mark is just around the corner!

  • How can you not see the difference! You look AWESOME and I am proud of your hard work. You may still be way offf from your goal, but you have done amazing work nand you shoukd feel more confident about that. • I have finished the first month of Insanity and decided to take this week off before starting the recovery and second month. I did not follow the nutrition guide, but I followed the calorie and nutrition count from MFP and have already lost 13 lbs and 4.5 inches off my waist alone. I think if you control your portion…
  • I can tell you from experience, you will definately sweat, sweat, and sweat some more! I finished month 1 and decided to do 2 more weeks of the dvd's for month 1 to make sure I get geared up for month 2. I have so far lost 9 pounds and lost 4 inches off my waist in the first month doing this workout. I recommend this to…
  • I' not a dietician, but looking at your food diary, most days you are not consuming no where near your 1200 calorie limit. Keep in mind, your body goes into startvation mode when you net less than 1200 calories. Also, are you drinking any water? I don't see you tracking it on your diary. You should aim for at least 8…
  • Love, love, LOVE your idea! I am going to try that this weekend when I head out to Target. It is also a visual cue that will make a huge difference in perception!
  • I have found that since I have been waking up earlier to get my excercise in, not only has my energy increased throughout the day,but I go to bed at my usual time and sleep better. Also, there is a pillow called the Slumber Gel that I have found to be a great pillow. I comforms to your head abd never flattern, so i fall…

I was not in the best shape when starting but i felt better when i saw the people on the video having to stop and take extra breaks because…

  • Girl, that is not TMI, because i have been there and still am there! That is good work and motivaing to know that one day i will be able to freely wear my skirts again as well!
  • Thank you guys for all of your great suggestions. I will especially put the 'leave your debit/credit card at home' method. Now that I think about it, if i do not have either or on me (like when I go on quick errands), I am not tempted to spend because I have nothing to spend!
  • Your story is an inspiration to me. I am really motivated now and am at peace with doing it the slow but steady pace! Congratulations!:flowerforyou:
  • Hey there, at least you have children as a scapegoat for your weight. I had a breast reduction 1 year ago on January 27th and the question I always get is, "when is the baby due?" How embarrassing. It used to be okay to say I just had a reduction, but that excuse has lost its justification of why my stomach is still huge.…
  • Congratulations! If you are working out at the gym, I would recommend the elliptical machine. You can burn the same amount of calories (or more) in half the time of working out on the treadmill. I find the elliptical is less strenuous on my knees and keeps my heart rate up longer.
  • Hello, I am bew to this sight. I found the app for my Samsung Galaxy on Sunday and decided to input what I ate that day. I was soooo shocked to see that I had ate almost 4000 CALORIES.
