Netflix on my Kindle. I tried reading and it didn't work for me. But I found if I find a series on Netflix to watch, I can sometimes watch two 45 minute episodes before I realize how long I have been on there. I watched the entire 6 seasons of Lost this way..lol

I agree with the person that said not to rely on water flavorings (i.e, crystal light). I unfortunately did that and I am finding it very hard to wean myself off of it. I have a hard time drinking plain water now. But a couple things that has helped me is for one get a water bottle with a straw - it makes it so much faster…

If you are just looking for a doctor for regular check ups, etc. I would highly suggest finding a Nurse Practitioner (NP). I recently had to find a new doctor to treat my thyroid when my endocrinologist moved out of state. In looking for a doctor I found that there were no other endocrinologists in our city and also a huge…

Thank you! At the beginning of this journey I never thought I would ever be an inspiration to someone. Just believe in yourself and don't beat yourself up if you make mistakes along the way.

I do have a problem getting the calories in daily. It is not for lack of trying. I eat when I am hungry. Because of my work schedule I take my breakfast and lunch to work along with snacks. I usually do not end up eating the snacks. I try to eat a lot of vegetables. I could be wrong, but I was under the impression women…

New to the group! Hi! I'm Jessica from Oregon and I am 38 years old. I am a mom and wife with a full time job. I have struggled with my weight since my first pregnancy almost 21 years ago. I have tried every crazy diet out there, but this is the first time I have made the commitment to change my lifestyle. I have been on…

The weight loss number itself does not bother me. The fact that I have not gone done any clothes sizes and i see others who have lost 20lbs and gone down 2 dress sizes. Soo frustrating at times! But I have been working through that insecurity, just tough at times.

Thank you both for your help! It is amazing the things I have learned since starting this healthy lifestyle. And honestly makes me sad to think about the way I used to live!

I count mine as circuit training. I put it in for 30 minutes..I do extra abs and cardio to fill in the time to make it 30 minutes (not counting cool down).

I would take your rest day and just eat a healthy dinner and not worry about going over your calories. As long as you don't over do it the rest of today with dinner and any snacks you will be fine. One day will not throw you totally off track as long as you do not see it as a free for all day or week as I used to do..lol.

bump for later :)
