  • Feel free to add me :) I am looking for lots of motivation and am lucky to have found great friends on here to motivate me. I log everything I put into my mouth and every bit of exercise I do. I also post blogs a few times a week. Good luck on your journey!! You will succeed!
  • One thing I should note is that all these blogs I have been reading were all on Weight Watchers. So maybe it has something to do with that?
  • Exercise. I do it. Do I love it..NOPE. Thought I would be one of those people that say they never realized how much they loved to exercise until they started doing it and it makes them feel so good....NOPE not me. I hate it. Every freaking minute of it..lol. The food change has been easy (surprisingly!). The exercise I…

Reduced fat block style cheese The Laughing Cow light cheese wedges (so far love all ive tried!) Light string cheese Philadelphia fat free cream cheese Kroger CARBmaster yogurt (omgosh...sooo…
  • You mean they are not the chicken?!? Ok I have to go do some googling myself...
  • I wish I had this problem. I have mine set for 30% of my calories which I believe puts it aroud 98g. I usually only get in 70ish grams a day. I need more protein!
  • It is for your own benefit. It does nothing to your stats. I use it to keep myself accountable for the amount of water I drink. When I post my food if I have no water to post it makes me feel really guilty so I go drink some..lol.
  • I get my snack size baggies and sandwich baggies at the dollar tree. I buy the plastic containers wherever I see them on sale. Usually Walmart has them the cheapest.
  • Oh yes I forgot Subway. I found on their website you can put together a salad or sandwich and it will tell you all the nutritional facts. So I plan ahead the night before and write down when I am going to treat myself to subway.
  • Sometimes I am too busy as well to make a sandwich....although I always have time to make hubby's lunch and the kids'..lol. So what I have started doing is when I make tuna salad, egg salad or chicken salad I spit it in smaller containers and then all I have to do in the morning is throw bread or a tortilla in a plastic…
  • These are some things I bring for lunch: - Low calorie homemade chicken salad (Put it in a pocket bread or on low calorie bread) - Progresso light soups - Cottage Cheese and tomatoes - Tomato, avocado, cucumber salad - Leftovers from dinner night before - Hard boiled eggs - Yogurt with berries - Wrap using LaTortilla…
  • I really cannot stand Stevia. I prefer Splenda. Apartasme does not bother me, but I prefer the taste of Splenda. I know people that like Truvia but do not like Stevia eventhough Truvia is made from the Stevia plant. I have not tried it. The best you can do is try it and see what you think.
  • I use splenda and fat free half and half. I know I have been lectured on my use of artificial sweeteners. I have give up cheesy mexican food, peanut m&m's, red vine licorice and many other things...believe me the people around me DO NOT want me to give up my coffee..sooooo the splenda won...lol
  • If this is really a serious question and not a post to stir people up....we need some clarification. How much weight do you want to lose? (To some people 20lbs is a lot...to me 100lbs is a lot..) And how fast? Is there a reason you want it done so fast? A special occasion?
  • To give you an idea of a typical day for me...yesterday's diary entries: Breakfast 7AM - Slim Fast shake mixed with unsweetened vanilla almond milk = 140 calories Mid Morning Snack - 9:30 AM - Kroger CARBmaster yogurt ( I LOVE this stuff!) and small banana = 150 calories Lunch NOON - Homemade chicken salad (using plain non…
  • I cannot afford a gym membership so I workout only at home and count calories/log food intake. I have the 30 Day Shred (also available for free on YouTube)...I also walk when I can..I play Just Dance with my kids on the Wii..and I do have a treadmill which is nice since our weather here is so unpredictable. I have lost…
  • I like Sargento Ultra Thin Cheese - may flavors (Colby Jack, Milk Cheddar, Provolone, Swiss, Sharp Cheddar, Pepper Jack), They range from 40-45 calories a slice and although thin they are large squares and one slice is definately enough for my sandwich. They are very tasty as well!
  • Thank you. I am going to look at the website and do some of my own research. I have always been told by others to only watch my added sugar intake, not from fruits or vegetables. I only eat a large amount of fruit in the summer when it is in season, so I am hoping to find out more before that time comes. For now I eat one…
  • I love the 30 Day shred...it is strength training, cardio and abs. I am still on Level 1. On Day 10 I tried Level 2, but after one day I realized that with my shoulder injury there is no way I will be able to Level 2 without hurting my shoulder. I have been doing the shred for 30 days now...I do 2 days of Shred....1 day of…

  • Mexican Food....the cheesiest the better....and Hershey's dark chocolate (the big bars)...red vine licorice (the whole bag)...and finally peanut M&M's (the 1 lb bags) :( yuck
  • MFP tracks all sugar...natural or added. I made the mistake of monitoring my sugar number in the beginning. I freaked when I saw how many sugar grams I was eating until I noticed that the majority came from fruits and vegetables. As long as you read labels and do not add any sugar to your food then you are doing great! The…
  • I started 50 days ago at 280lbs. I have lost 31 pounds...I am on Day 12 (still on Level 1...a shoulder injury is keeping me away from Level 2 which is hard on the shoulders)...I have lost 10 pounds and 3 inches off my waist and 9 inches off my thighs...1 inch off my neck and 1 inch off my arms..I gained 1 inch on my…
  • I get up early so I have a small breakfast of about 150 calories at 7AM...then I do a snack of about 150 calories at 9:30AM during break at work. I have a lunch of about 300 calories at NOON. At 3;30-4 PM I will have a small snack..usually around 60-70 calories...so I usually have an apple or carbmaster yogurt. I have…
  • CARBmaster yogurt....Bananas....Stacy's Pita Chips & a Laughing Cow cheese wedge....Fiber One 90 calorie bars...Quaker Rice Cakes (Caramel and White Cheddar are my fave)....so far my favorite part of this journey is finding low calorie snacks
  • I love it. All the flavors are amazing. Black Forest Cake is so so so good! When I first heard about it the complaints I heard about was the consistency. It is thick like greek yogurt. It does contain surcalose...that is how they keep the sugar down..I know this is a no no for some people, but not to me. Sometimes I eat…
  • I tried soooo many kinds. I disliked all but Yoplait Greek yogurt. But then I discovered CARBmaster from Kroger. It is high in protein but only 60 calories and only 3g of sugar. I do use plain Greek yogurt in place of sour cream and Mayo in recipes.
