I'm offended!

I'm on a cyclic ketogenic diet. One of the best diet decisions I've made so far. I started with standard macros doing IIFYM. I thought "hey, I can eat whatever I want! I won't feel deprived!" It turns out: 1) It takes a heck of a lot more willpower for me to eat only a little of something I love (CARBS!) than none at all.…

Thanks y'all! :)

My question is... How in the world does a vagatarian log his "food??"

I don't know about a full-on transformation, but mine is a pretty good start! 35%bf ----> 30%bf
-
Congrats! That's some great success!

Isolation: none Compound: used to be squat until I tore one of my hip flexors. So now I'd say Romain Deadlift HIIT: stationary bike Steady state - NONE

This. My body loves carrying weight on my hips...all the way around to created a "shelf" on my tooshie. It might just be the very last thing to go. Keep up the calorie deficit (and make sure you're recalculating it as you lose) and it WILL come off!

I'm thinking maybe you aren't counting calories super accurately if you're gaining weight on 1400 calories. Even with a very slow metabolism, I would think you'd be maintaining or losing weight verrrrry slowly, not gaining. If I had your schedule, I honestly wouldn't work out on those days. When I'm on my feet for 12…

Me, too! I had trouble meeting my calories for maybe 2 weeks. Then I was over it. I've noticed the same thing when I jump off the wagon for a few days and ramp up my calories - when I come back to low-cal, I'm just not all that hungry. I guess my body knows it has more than enough to run on for a while!
-
That's true! I guess I'm coming from a midget's perspective...20lbs would make me look like a completely different person! And yes, strength training is where it's at!

Girl, that is not small scale change and big visual change. That's an awesome scale change and amazing visual! You should be crazy proud.

The way I read the OP, I assumed the question was pertaining to doing SOMEthing every day, not everything, and in that case, I agree with the farmwork example. People come here and ask if they need to take a break from their 30 minute walks or their jazzercize class, which is entirely different than taking a break from…

I don't think the OP mentioned being on a rigorous heavy lifting plan... I think it depends on what you're doing and why you're doing it. I take at least a day in between my heavy lifting days, but there are plenty other ways to work out that I consider just upping my activity level vs sitting on the couch all day. Like…

I'm proud on a 12k day! I'm impressed!

I'd say I was surprising myself about 3 weeks in.

I'd try cutting out the dairy and see if it helps. If I eat too much dairy...wooh! It ain't pretty. Also...broccoli? In a protein shake? That sounds interesting. You could easily switch that for something less gassy like spinach. Odds are it isn't the protein. Could be, but you've got a gas-fest drink going on.

<down 4lbs/2.2% body fat lost. Gotta get some current pics taken!

Stick the URL in the middle and change the IMGs to lower case. Happy life!

Now you have MYattention!

:noway: Then they ask for photos of your squat.

I did weight watchers. It worked. But so does MFP and it's free :-)

I'm a bit of a weirdo...I shower-bathe. I LOVE baths, but I can't wash my hair properly in them and I don't like the idea of soaking in my own dirt. So I take a quick shower and then a bath afterward if I feel like it. Like the PP, it's usually when I'm cold or sore OR when I'm hiding from my noisy house. I do almost all…

Only nude photos are accepted and may be sold to the highest bidder. :drinker: In!

I can't figure it out. Part of my training plan is 20 minutes on the Stairmaster - I'm sitting pretty at 2 minutes. I guess I should spend less time hating it from a distance and more time on it.
-
I don't do cardio on strenghth training days since I started doing a full-body program. I can't get much done after squatting or deadlifting heavy. So I alternate.

It's an example of a logical fallacy. On another note. I like how so many people are so passionately defending a stranger. He could be the worlds BIGGEST creeper or a frickin saint. We have no idea. I'd trust my own intuition before I'd trust a bunch of people on the Internet, OP. If you're uncomfortable (and you're not…

I don't know if it's cheating (who would you be cheating...yourself) but I'm fairly certain it won't work.

Careful,..your eyes might get stuck back there.
