Awesome job! I'm 5'3, CW 143 with a GW of 125-130, love seeing other short folks succeeding, haha. :D

I'm 5'3 and used to do a lot of hiking, biking, walked everywhere, etc - never had to worry about it. I live in suburbia now without access to a lot of my favorite activities so I definitely have to be more aware of my eating habits. MFP is definitely a huge help for that. Congrats on the loss! I've gone from 163 to 143 so…

I'm 32, mom of 3, lost 20 so far and looking to do another 15. I'm 5'3 and on 1200/day if anyone's looking for similar friends - but I'm open to all friend requests. :)

Always happy to have more friends! My list is pretty lonely, hahaha. :)

Third time here too!

My husband was just diagnosed this morning - though he's generally on the low end of normal weight, so keeping it on is a problem rather than losing. Following along for the food suggestions!

I'm a mom of 3 (8, 4, 1) - I lost 35 pounds between 2 and 3 but didn't do so well after that. I changed my diet too much and it didn't stick long term - now I'm at it again but just working on portion control and substitutions and it's going much better. I'm 5'3 so what I eat isn't the best to follow for people who might…

PT for this is *amazing.* I went through PT a few years ago and kept up with the exercises and it only ever bothers me after a very strenuous day now - even then, rarely. In the meantime, those stretches are fantastic, and icing helps the best. I'm sorry you've got to deal with it though - I remember nights so bad I…

I wouldn't say it's a hard and fast rule, like malibu said it's personal preference. I find myself far more satisfied with 40/30/30 rather than 50/30/20 so I go for that, though sometimes the balance is even farther away from carbs. I don't know, they aren't as appealing in the face of fats/proteins to me, haha. So I…

I'm 5'3 and on 1200. :) SW 159, CW 156, GW 135. I did this once before and went from 163 to 138, but fell off the wagon pretty hard with postpartum depression. You can do this, though! We're small so it's harder to see big numbers - BUT we start seeing a difference faster. There are perks to being tiny. I have found after…

I think that if IF suits your natural eating habits you can have a ton of success with it. There's so many people just naturally AREN'T HUNGRY until later in the day. I'm one of them. When I started out, I was forcing myself to eat breakfast and sometimes having to choke lunch down. Then I'd hit dinner, my 'natural' big…

I know how this is. This combined with depression turned a 26 pound loss into a 9 pound loss and now I've got to do it all over again.

You don't have to eat clean to lose weight - there's countless people on MFP who have lost plenty without it. Some that look like fitness models now. But that doesn't mean you have a free pass for McDonald's all the time. Too easy to go overboard or miscalculate what you're eating. Also, your wallet will thank you when you…

Clearance racks are fantastic. Especially right now, they're already starting to clearance out spring and summer stuff. You can find stuff for not much more ($2-5) on the clearance racks at Target/Old Navy/TJ Maxx/Marshalls etc than you would a thrift store. I bought three shirts the other day at Target for less than $3…

I'm 22.5% smaller than I think I am. I know that I have serious issues in seeing myself in a realistic way, but didn't realize it was that bad. I was like four models smaller than what I picked. This is great, I'm sharing it.

I do the same thing, but at the core of it all I know it's better to log it because you're better off being able to see and learn from your mistakes so it's not all for nothing. :) Good on you for having the guts to do it, because I guarantee TONS of people are the same way.

I've been having a cup of coffee to start my day for my entire adult life and then some - no sugar, always been too much for me. 2 tbsp of liquid creamer. For me, those two tablespoons of creamer are worth figuring out a sacrifice somewhere else in the day. Sometimes I'll do 1 tbsp with a little bit of pumpkin pie spice. I…

I'm not a vegetarian, but my username should speak for itself. :P

I'm 5'3 and currently 152. Started at 164, lost 26 pounds, gained back (seasonal depression yay) and now I'm starting over. Goal is more visual/how I feel than anything but I think 130 is right about the mark I'm shooting for.

It's kind of funny about the recall because I just tried Trader Joe's red pepper hummus (TO DIE FOR) this week - thankfully that wasn't what was recalled. It's delicious. I'm going to have to try making the black bean at home . . .

28 here, and restarting. I had lost 26 pounds and then hit a serious depression wall and gained quite a bit back. Not all, but a lot. Ticker pic shows where I was when I failed - leaving it for motivation. Always open to friends.

You look awesome!!! Blast that all over Facebook, because it's an impressive change and you deserve the attention for all that dedication. :)

So far, 25 pounds lost (163 post-baby to 138 today). Goal is to take off another 10-15 and tone up a bit, particularly on the whole diastasis recti issue (thanks, kids). Feeling pretty good today, though. :D Although it seems in 6 months I haven't once been able to clean my bathroom mirror . . .

I'm 5'2! :D SW: 163 CW: 138 GW: Between 125-130 depending on how things look. Less worried about a number than about how I feel. Picture:

I'm a mom of a 4 year old and 7 month old . . . I work from home, which sounds like a dream but it means I'm my own childcare service, too. So from the time I get up til the time I go to bed, it's kids-work-kids-work-kids-work-maybegettopee-kids-work. Occasionally I get a shower! ;) I also live in the South and it's hot as…

Yeah, cwolfman's reply is probably the best in general, especially for people like me who aren't satisfied with window shopping. To actually get the 'benefit' (if you can call it that) of emotional shopping and feel better, I have to actually buy. So, I've stopped using that as a way to deal with emotional stuff. Exercise…

Great progress! You have a great natural shape, too. I'm kinda jealous. You're going to slim down into va-va-voom. :D

Looking good! And happy. :)

She's obviously worked hard to look like that, and there's tons of people out there who go for just that type. So good for her for the hard work. Too skinny is sort of a broad thing. Is she too skinny to be healthy? No, she's obviously healthy. Too skinny for personal taste? I think if I munched box I would want someone…
