Thank you for the advice DavPul. I really appreciate it. I never realized how hard it is for me to not use my arm. Especially at work and when I cook. I had to literally band my arm to my stomach to keep it in place.

This is pure awesome. Good for you!

You've admitted the issue. That's important. Now get it together and make yourself proud. I have a food addiction too but I want this so bad. I want to go shopping for clothes and fit into all those nice things I see. I want to feel comfortable in a bathing suit when I take my kids to the pool. Just keep the things in mind…

Even a banana is 100 calories. At the end of the day snack on some fruit and some nuts or grab a spoonful of peanut butter. On my low cal days that's what I do and it seems to work for me.

This just made my life....

let me clarify, I will be taking 2 sets of hand weights with me wherever I go to help with my weight training.

I have a ninja and it comes with two sized parts. The bigger one I use for smoothies and the smaller one is for dips and salsas.

You can always keep it open and do the "quick add calories" to hide your indulgences! Like how I did with that 250 calorie subway cookie I helped my 3 yr old eat.

when I first started working out my feet hurt very badly. I ended up getting new shoes and getting arch support socks as well as inserts and my feet haven't bothered me since. If changing the way you work out and what you are using doesn't help I'd agree that you should see your Dr.

No idea but I got mine for $7 on Amazon.

What a great success! You should be so proud!

I'm only on day 3 and I still do my regular workouts but I feel a difference. My husband tried to do the 30DS with me and couldn't make it through the warm up!

This!

My alarm is set to play some of my favorite work out tunes. On mornings I feel like going back to bed I seriously strip and stare at myself in the mirror. Its motivating because I can see the difference working out has made for my body and I know I have to continue.

My emotional eating would come in spurts and I would start jonesing for something sweet. As soon as I learned to recognize that feeling I would start reading something really interesting or jump on my elliptical. I haven't emotionally eaten in months! Sorry for your loss. My cousin is my BF too and it would be very hard to…

You look great! Congrats!

I do wonder that on occasion but I keep my nexus 7 with me so I can put all my exercise info into MFP as I go so I've actually told most of our trainers about it.
-
I also work out in the AM before eating. Never any issues.

Do you like hard boiled eggs? I personally can't stand them but my husband eats them after work outs and they are an easy and healthy source of protein. I can't eat after a work out so I drink my protein. I like the new GNC protein powder in chocolate. Its called wheybolic extreme 60 and I use one scoop within 45 minutes…

My daughter is a girl scout. Instead of buying them for the house we donate to troops and the local homeless shelters. It saves us the calories and feels good to do something nice and help my DDs troop.

Congrats and happy birthday!

I'm very focused when I run and I use that time to think a lot. I don't think I'd enjoy running with someone else.

We are in Muncie and right now I go to modern lady fitness but this weekend my family and I are signing up at the YMCA. Maybe we will bump into each other some time! I'd love to find friends to ride with. I have a nice bike but I'm not from here and I don't really know anyone well.

My last response was meant for you! Sorry.

That's right by my mother. I'm always jealous of it being so close to her. It looks really nice. Do you like it?
-
I work out twice a day Mon - Fri. I feel lethargic if I don't get both work outs in. Its a state of mind really. I've just come to expect it from myself.

My total weight loss goal is 68 lbs. I've got about 60 left to go!
-
I own my own company and work around 60 hours a week. I make sure to always make meals ahead of time and carry easy healthy snacks. Its a bit easier for me I suppose cause I don't have to worry about anyone taking any of my meals or snacks out of the break room for fear of being fired lol.

I usually use an elliptical at home so I'm usually in shoes. But if I'm working out on my yoga mat, balance ball, or lifting weights I'm either barefoot or wearing flip flops. I have a fear of being barefoot for the most part. Maybe I've just had too many bad experiences stepping on tiny legos haha.

My goal is to lose weight and tone so I personally spend about 70% of my time with Cardio and 30% of my time with strength training. I want to lose more first, once I lose another 25 lbs I will start to tone more. That is just me and my goals. So you need to figure out what your goals are and set your ratios accordingly.
