  • Hey! I'm so excited you found love for Les Mills! I teach BodyCombat and CXWorx. Combat is my #1 love, though :) I tell all of my participants, find something you LOVE and it will only make getting to the gym that much easier! Feel free to connect with me!
  • Hey ladies!! I’m 5’6 and went through the big weight drop a few years ago and of course have gone up. I’m sitting at round 160-163. I teach group fitness, so my exercise is good. It’s my food I need to get into check!!! Would LOVE to have some like minded ladies to keep me going, peer support is super important!!!
  • Oh bummer :/ Maybe someone else will chime in!
  • I wish you had gotten responses so I could get some insight! I'm going to be doing instructor training soon. Do you have any advice or insight to share with me?
  • Now, water with a flavor (Mia type flavor) or my one cup of coffee in the morning with creamer. As a kid it was Mt. Dew or Mellow Yellow....only. We would have the 3 liter bottle in the fridge constantly and that would be all I drank. I made the switch to diet sodas in college, with a more recent addiction to Diet Dr.…
  • I usually get in a rut and eat the same things over and over, so not much variety. But I do try to make my own food and limit the processed food. Feel free to add me :)
  • This is their redesign of the balance bag. It looks bigger, though ww.rei.com/product/869867/rei-balance-gym-bag I found mine used on a site called LikeTwice.com for $20. I jumped on it quick! I did a quick google search and couldn't find it available anywhere any more :(

  • I have a few (I'm kind of obsessed). An Underarmour normal duffle style bag....This bag is huge though. It has a separate vented compartment for shoes. I also use it to travel and as a carry on on planes. But it works well for those days I have a lot to carry around.…

  • Most of my stuff is C9 brand from Target and Old Navy is stepping it up with their workout gear. Great prices and cute.
  • Just upgraded to the Charge from a flex. LOVE it :) I've worn a fitbit for the past year and can honestly say it's been a major motivator for my weight loss!! Anyone's welcome to friend me Jeffininer https://www.fitbit.com/user/2DXQXW
  • Nope, I ate them..... :)
  • Last week we stopped by the store to pick up a few things because we were getting a big snow. I picked up a package of Oreos, which I never buy. They were gone by the morning. I swear I didn't eat that many!! I'm really hoping the kids helped....because yeah....Oreos. Nope, didn't log them. They didn't happen.
  • I have found through losing weight it has a major dependence on your weight and effort. When I was at my heaviest (170) and doing constant cardio on an Arc Trainer for an hour (HR was up between 165 and 175) I'd burn close to 1,000 calories. That was based on my Polar HRM I wore. I now weigh right around 150. Yesterday I…
  • This one my family loves. We make with rice and steamed veggies. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/sweet-sticky-and-spicy-chicken/detail.aspx
  • I drink a shake every day. For the past year I've been using MFP I haven't been able to reach my protein goals, so it makes sense for me. I use Optimum Nutrition double rich chocolate. I mix 1.5 scoops with 4 oz of unsweetened almond milk and an 8 oz black coffee. Makes an amazing afternoon coffee/shake fix!
  • I use Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard. Double Rich Chocolate with low fat milk tastes just like chocolate milk. Mixes well and no chunks or chalky flavor.
  • Well man, no one has responded? I'd love to connect on Garmin. I'm a runner and training for my second half marathon in March. I think I'm doing the triple crown half marathons in March, May, and June. Then running my first marathon in November. Needless to say, I'm pretty active. Feel free to add me!! Jeffininer
  • I don't have a Vivofit, but I'm on Garmin Connect for my running. But feel free to add me, if you'd like :) Jeffininer
  • I have no connections on Garmin Connect. I'd love some friends. Jeffininer
  • I know exactly what you mean. For the longest time my sister and I were on a huge back and forth competition. Right now I'm on the up side and she's on the down side. Instead of competing, I'm doing a lot like your friend. Being along side her and encouraging her to keep on going. I love this between us. No more jealousy…
  • I can't stand working out at home. Home is my comfort place and I just can't push myself to do anything at home (but that's just me). I love the gym and that is my place to work hard. Does your gym have classes? That makes a huge difference, if you can be in a class atmosphere. You have group accountability (I've made some…
  • I was looking at people's tickers that showed hundreds of miles for the month. I figured that HAD to be a typo....nope, they're just that awesome. :)
  • Anyone interested, this is the 10 week training plan I'm using. I've been really happy with how this schedule is working. My long runs feel good and it gets some strength and cross training in there. 10 Week Half Marathon Plan I think since my first reply on here I'm going to sign up for 3 halfs and my first full in…

  • I'm training for my second half that is on March 15th. I'm on week 3 of my training plan. I haven't missed a day yet! I just want the weather to warm up and to stay lighter later so I can do more running outside. Right now only my long run on Sundays is outside. Feel free to add me! I need all the motivation and…

  • First, congrats for wanting to make a change and asking for advice when you know what you're doing isn't working. That's a hard thing to admit sometimes. With that said, I have lost 30 pounds with using MFP, changing my diet, and exercise. First, log everything you put into your mouth. This will make sure that little lost…
