Is anyone incorporating drinking wine during your meal?

I'm in maintenance and have been for a long time so I'm not as strict. I'm just hearing that some veggies like cucumber, lettuce, and celery are negative calories foods. So, I rarely count them. I know onions, carrots, etc. have a lot more calories.
-
My friend was saying how in WW most veggies are zero points.

I love bagels, but they do have a lot of calories. I love the outside crunch the most so I hollow mine out. It saves a lot of empty calories and it still satisfies my craving. I go light on the cream cheese and sometimes I have two which is the equivalent of one whole bagel.

Thanks ladies! I feel like I've been over-doing it on the weekends and I need to log more strictly because 2,000 calories a day is plenty to maintain. I eat a lot lighter during the week so, I need to tighten it up on the weekends!

I've had several people I know have it done and while some have lost weight and kept it off, most of them have gained it back. But, also some of them have transferred their addiction to alcohol or another unhealthy habit. If you don't go into therapy before, during and after, you will not be treating the actual food…

All of the Taco Bell fresca menu. Double stack and chicken go wrap at Wendy's. Egg white delight mcmuffin at McDonald's, and BK Veggie burger at burger king.

If hunger is your issue, try intermittent fasting to lose the last few. It's more a schedule to eat, and I'm never hungry.

Intermittent fasting. I've lost a lot of weight and rarely hungry.

I understand your doctor may follow the standard height/weight/BMI charts, but that's really not the way to decide what your weight should be. Does he want you 160 and all muscle? Or, 160 with no muscle...I agree with whomever said to get your body fat/muscle ratio measured and see what they say. I was once 153 with no…

It really depends on how you'll react emotionally to the scale. In the beginning, you'll drop every week. Then, you'll start to slow down and that can mess with your head. As long as you know that you'll eventually slow down, and plateau at times, and that's okay. Sometimes it makes you feel disappointed and that's not…

Two months, Intermittent fasting

@tomk652015 I agree. I just asked my doctor about this last month. She said it's a myth too. Otherwise, anorexic's wouldn't be thin, etc. Unless it's a medical problem, if you eat way below your calories, you lose weight. It's really not an opinion.

@tacklewasher Yes, I have been within my calories, actually a little under the past few days, so I will have the skin moving forward. I just won't weigh for a few days!
-
Thanks. Going to drink a lot of water today. I can't resist the skin, I know I should!

Great job tall girls!! Very inspiring. Yes, It is also nice to be able to eat so much more than shorter people. My best friend is 5' and is barely allotted 1250 with no wiggle room!
-
Where did you find this report, is it on MFP?
-
Get up and take short walks after every meal!
-
I do this just about one day a week every week and it hasn't stopped me from losing. I guess I'd be down more if I hadn't, but, I don't think I could keep going if I didn't give myself a break once a week.
-
Thanks everyone! I'm going to try ALL of your suggestions. I'll try anything I can at this point. Constantly needing to know where there's a bathroom is no way to live!

@coreyreichle I've had issues with IBS in the past, and it's been bothering me again. I was told that Kefir helps to regulate the good bacteria. I eat a ton of fruits and vegetables and my diet is pretty healthy overall. Just looking for added support. I did buy the blueberry commercial brand, that's probably why it has so…

@need2exerc1se How does it help with your gut? I need GI help and have tried probiotics...

You're not eating nearly enough for your size. You'll set yourself up to fail. Up your calories and set your weight loss a conservative amount weekly. You'll be more successful in the long run and you won't be starving!

They're so good!

I lost 40 lbs doing IF on a 17/7 ish schedule.
-
@ninerbuff Ha, Ha!! That's How if felt when I first tried it!
-
I have been eating carbs, but I haven't done much over indulging. Maybe on the vino :) I think working out would help, but I didn't workout while losing weight. I need to start now to get strong while I'm in maintenance. I'm guessing half of the weight is water, the other half wine and cheese!
-
@leejoyce31 It took about 7 months. I dropped weight quickly at first and then slowed down. The thing that is so different is that you don't feel like you're dieting because you're never really starved and cravings are reduced. I did start this eating schedule at the advice of my doctor to lower my triglycerides and weight…

I'm now down 40 as of today!
