I have a FitBit Aria that uploads my weight and BF% because it's synced up with MFP and my FitBit Charge 2. It works pretty well.

I work an office/desk job and I have my goal set at 7,000 per day with my FitBit. It's a GOAL that I reach maybe two or three days per week, and 6,000 is closer to my actual daily average. But that's why they call it goal!

I simply use my FitBit, linked it to MFP and base my meals and snacks around what it says. Sometimes I go over a bit, sometimes I go under a bit, but it's keeping me in maintenance pretty well.

I'm 5'3.5" and 47 years old, 108 pounds (very small frame). Sedentary desk job (but I have a sit/stand desk and just recently got a Fluidstance balance board for it!) and I average around 6,000 - 7,000 steps a day. My maintenance calories are right around 1500. Bear in mind, I have zero natural hormones, so I don't…

"Most everyone here will tell you that you just need to start logging everything. Everyday. Weigh what you eat and log it. Stay under your calorie max. You'll lose the weight. Eat what you like...just less of it. " This^^ Exactly this. It took me a few starts and stops before I got consistent with my logging. I don't…

I have both a FitBit and a Motiv Ring. I've been using the FitBit for well over 4 years now, and just received the Motiv Ring last September. BOTH pieces took a couple of months to "settle" and then they've been fairly accurate ever since.

I use my FitBit and my Motiv Ring to track exercise and calories burned. I log in every day. Sometimes I go over, sometimes I am a little under, but I have maintained within a couple of pounds for over four years now. I attempted on my own for a couple of months, but without the FitBit or Motiv Ring, I have nearly always…

Just let the two sync and don't enter it separately into MFP. I let my FitBit sync into MFP and never actually enter any exercise into MFP because my FitBit has already compensated my calorie count for it.

I had this issue and after thousands of dollars spent on liver tests and gall bladder tests, I discovered a Frutose Malabsorption issue! I can't eat fructose - or fructans - in any shape or form. So that includes 80% of all fruits (for some reason I'm ok with citrus and peaches...), most veggies have more fructose than…

I am almost 47, 5'3" tall, weight = 113 (approximately) and I eat an average of around 1400 calories regularly with low activity level due to a terrible back. I have used a FitBit in conjunction with MFP for many years in order to maintain my weight appropriately and it helps me to determine how many or how few calories I…

If you don't feel like cooking something from scratch every day for dinner, why not pre-make some dinners on a day off so that you can still get the nutrition you need, but don't have to do anything but heat it up? When my man was deployed, I made my dinners ahead of time: roasted some chicken breasts, made mashed potatoes…

I try to start every day with black coffee and a protein of some sort. Protein always fills me up and gets me through until lunchtime. I've been making my own Greek yogurt recently, so I will sometimes have 4 ounces of that, with a little peach jam for sweetener. At other times, I'll have a couple or three scrambled egg…

I have had a FitBit of one form or another since the Flex came out and it's always been connected to the MFP app. I link them so I can see how many additional calories I can eat! I am now using a FitBit Charge + HR and it's still working great for me. Recently, I purchase a Motiv Activity Ring. Yes, it's a ring with a…

I've been hearing it most of my life. At 5'3" I should be somewhere between 104 and 115 pounds. When I hit 130# I decided enough was enough. Then I started hearing "Oh, you're fine where you are! You don't need to lose anything!" Just because I may look smaller to them at 130# does not mean I am not overweight for my size.…

I tried coffee with milk, then I tried coffee with creamer, and then with other flavorings and I just can't do it. It has to be black.

I'm 5'3" with a goal weight of 110. My maintenance is between 1400 - 1600 depending on the exercise I do that day (My Fitbit adds calories back in for me). Without exercise, 1300-1350 calories per day maintenance is about normal for me. I hover around 112 - 113 and I'm fairly happy with it, but I do have a bit "extra" on…

I am 5'3" and about 113 pounds. My maintenance is 1400-1600 calories, even *with* exercise. When you are as small as we are, that is a NORMAL caloric intake, so no, it's perfectly reasonable for maintenance.

Tonic with bitters....and you can use a diet tonic so it's all of about 10 calories total including the bitters. :)

It sounds like your body actually isn't getting enough calories for your size AND your exercise. I am 5'3, 112 pounds (or thereabouts) and I typically eat around 1400 - 1500 calories a day when I exercise (7,000 steps a day) to maintain my weight. If I'm not exercising, I'm at 1350 calories...

I actually carry a derringer while I'm jogging - it sits in a bra holster.

I bought a FitBit and sync'd it up with MFP; it is amazing at helping me to maintain my 110 lbs (5'2", 45 years old) for the past year and a half! If I don't have it on to tell me how much or how little exercise I'm getting each day, I will guarantee I overeat and put weight back on.
-
I purchased this one and haven't looked back. I love it! It can either plug in, or be battery operated, it fits a full-sized plate on it and you can still read the display, it has "zero out" capability and it measures in pounds, ounces, kilograms, or grams:…

As the others have said, it takes a while for you to see the difference and make minor adjustments in the calculations here and there on Fitbit and on MFP, but once you have it set, you can pretty much just take the calorie count on MFP as rote! makes it really simple.

I use Align every other week and it helps immensely. I get a month's worth, take it for a week, rest for a week, take it for another week, rest for a week, etc. This makes it last for two full months instead of just one which makes the price tag easier on my pocketbook. However, I do notice a marked decrease in symptoms on…

I've been taking a daily dose of Vitamin D3 for well over a year now and have seen many Good Things from it - I was not sick at all this past winter (even in Iowa!) and I didn't go through the typical winter blahs that hit usually at the end of January, beginning of February. Oh yeah....it's good stuff!

I stopped using the "recommended" 1200 calories and started using the IIFYM and a FitBit. That method allowed me to drop my final 10 pounds and I typically eat anywhere between 1500 and 1700 calories a day to maintain my weight depending on my exercise habits. I'm 43 years old, 5'3" tall, and 113 pounds now.
-
This exactly. Wait for 20 to 30 minutes and then reassess.
-
Yup. Food intake. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but add more calories and see if you can't break through the plateau! I typically eat 1600 calories just to MAINTAIN my weight at 113 pounds.... 5'3" and 42 years old to boot....
-
Just remember that MFP doesn't set your protein high enough....ever! All of my research throughout the Internets say you need the number of grams of protein as half your body weight in pounds. So, I weigh 112 pounds, so I need at least 56 grams of protein. I have, however, set my protein goal at my full body weight! If you…

I'm almost 43 and for the past three years, I've been living with a man 15 years younger than myself. It works out very well for both of us.....
