I would just keep doing what you're doing now, as it seems to be working well for you if you're happy with the results and feel good. Just don't get discourage if your rate of loss slows some as you lose weight. You're losing quickly right now, but that's pretty normal when you have a lot to lose.
-
If you're losing, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Weighing your homemade food will help you to make better estimates at work when you can't weigh. It sounds to me like you're doing just fine right now.

It doesn't have to be miserable. While I'm sure your cousin means well, she is wrong about having to eat "clean" and not have anything you like. Set a calorie goal on MFP and do your best to stay within it. I have drinks on the weekends, go out to eat at restaurants, have donuts at work, etc... and have no problem losing…

Lose, not loose. That was what the above posters was trying to point out. When you lose weight, your pants become loose.

Also ask yourself if you're truly hungry. Is it hunger or is it boredom, habit, thirst, foodtastingreallyreallygood, emotional eating, etc...? 1610 sounds like a reasonable goal that shouldn't leave you famished if you're eating a lot of fiber (vegetables) and protein. Your stomach doesn't shrink, but I think after awhile…

I'm surprised a doctor would jump right into prescribing dangerous diet pills. If it were me, I'd be looking for a new doctor. All you NEED for weight loss is to create a calorie deficit. This speed will help you create the deficit, but it's not healthy and not sustainable, you can do it on your own. That's why so many…

Eating sugar doesn't give you diabetes. In most cases it's either inherited, or a result of being overweight. Are your diabetic family members overweight or obese?
-
What are you stats? Age/height/weight/activity level?
-
I don't even track sugar, I swapped it out for iron on my profile instead. Are you diabetic? If not, I wouldn't worry about going over on sugar, especially considering it's from fruit and milk.

It's actually very common for the weight on prepackaged food to be different than what it states. Unless all the people where who weigh their food have broken scales or are doing it wrong. :/ (hint: they aren't)
-
There is nothing new to say because they only reason you aren't losing weight is that you're not eating fewer calories than you burn. There is a reason you get the "usual answers", it's because they're correct. So you can keep looking for an unsustainable method that you'll give up on, or you can take people's good advice.…

How do you determine how much of each item you're eating? Are you guessing on portion sizes, using measuring cups and spoons, or are you weighing it with a food scale?
-
How often do you weigh yourself?
-
Natural does not equal healthy or safe.
-
I don't consider pizza (from chain restaurants or otherwise) junk food. I eat pizza all the time and am not having any problems getting in shape.
-
I wouldn't comment, either.

They really can be, believe it or not. Weighing food instead of eyeballing or measuring can be very eye opening. And sad. Like the first time you weigh what you thought was a tablespoon of peanut butter. :'( Or happy like the first time you weigh feta cheese.
-
Oh. Well if that's the case I wouldn't worry about it, it's completely normal. If it continues for several weeks, that's when you should looking into your logging accuracy and such.
-
How long has your weight stayed the same?
-
"You don't need to lose any weight, you're already skinnier than a lot of people". I'm not going to lower my standards for myself because other people are worse off. I want to be the best version of myself that I can be.

Please stop with the starvation mode myths. If someone is already eating at maintenance, telling them to eat more will NOT help and just lead them to gain.
-
What are your maintenance calories? 1642 is over your goal, but not really that high.
-
Are you a female? Could it be related to hormones?
-
Feta makes everything better. I wish I had a spinach feta egg wrap right now.
-
I agree, only one glass at a time.

Congrats! 80 lbs in 21 weeks would be difficult. Of course, you'll have a big initial loss of water weight, which will amount to quite a few pounds to add to your total loss. Just don't be discouraged if your weight loss slows after the first couple of weeks. I'd say 50-60lbs is more realistic for someone your size in 21…

You could always try "banking" calories during the week to have some wine on the weekends. Maybe just pick one day to drink, and try not to over do it. Or even two Saturdays out of each month or something. WTF? This is not true.

Anything that fits in your calorie goal.

Agreed. My husband drinks a green smoothie every morning and they look awful. They have kind of an off putting smell, too. They don't taste bad, but the color and smell are not pleasant for me.

I would chose the KFC, personally. A KFC diet would be far healthier and more balanced than a diet of juice alone.
