  • I average around that. Sometimes you go over that, sometimes less. But I exercise at least 4 days a week too. Feel free to add me as a friend and my diary is open too.
  • 1. No, never have but if I were hungry I would eat some 2. Yes, I have had a loss on the scale every week since I started in January
  • I have done almost all of the fad diets out there. I think Atkins is the worst of them.. I am doing the Glycemic index diet right now(www.gidiet.com) and I love it. I have lost 70lbs starting on jan 1st, 2011. It hasn't been easy, but with some hard work and supportive help from my wife, I am doing it. She has lost 60lbs…
  • Yes, I know all about this. I get it on my chest during the summer when I golf alot. It's actually a yeast infection. While my wife was at her doctor awhile back, she asked her about the rash when I sweat and she said it is a yeast infection.
  • My wife and I both bought a Timex T5G971 Unisex Sports Personal Heart Rate Monitor Watch. I love it. You have to wear the band around your chest and you check your heart rate, calories burned, average heart rate all with it. It's very easy to use and pretty accurate too. It's 41.94 from amazon.com .…
  • On Jan 1st 2011, I decided to give up soda. I was drinking dt mt dew all the time. I haven't had the first drop of soda since then and I didn't have any headaches or anything. I was very surprised. I drink alot of flavored waters and caffiene free tea w/ splenda. I really don't miss the pop much at all. Good luck to you.
  • Thanks alot.. These will come in very handy.
  • I have this one and it's very easy to set up and use. It seems to be pretty accurate. The only problem if you can call it that is if you are working out at the gym and you get on equipment that has a heart rate monitor installed on it, that equipment will pick up the heart rate instead of the watch. It's not a big deal but…
  • How many people can stop at 1 oreo? 2 oreos? Once your body tastes that instant sugar, it wants more. I can understand moderation but to some people it can make it worse. I have been on the GI Diet since Jan 1st and I have lost almost 40 lbs. If I go to the store and buy a pack of oreos with the intention of eating 1 or 2…
  • Sounds good, but what all do you have to do?
  • That is a great article. Thanks for sharing it.
  • My wife makes this and it's awesome. Glad to see other people eat it too.
  • I use 1/2 cup 100% whole grain steel cut oats with 1 cup of skim milk. Put in larger bowl than needed and put in microwave for 2 mins 45 seconds. I had 4 packets of splenda and love it. It has 259 calories like that but I like to add some sugar free yogurt or some fruit into it. Very filling breakfast and tastes great. I…
  • This site is awesome. It makes it SOO easy to figure your points/calories. If you lost or gained weight you can go back and see what you had that week and figure out why you did so good/bad. It's also nice to know you aren't the only one struggling with weight. From my experience, everyone on here is so helpful and…
  • What kind of diet plan are you on? I'm on the GI diet (glycemic index) and it feels like I'm eating all of the time. You just have to eat healthy but I am very happy with the diet and I have lost 28lb since Jan 1st. My wife has lost 21lbs also. It's always easier if your doing this with someone else. My experience with…
  • I've seen alot of waitresses and if you are very busy, it's definately some exercise.
  • I'm pretty sure clear liquids count as your 8 cups of water per day. I drink about 5 regular water and 3 flavored water. Someone told me diet 7up and diet sprite(clear diet pop) are acceptable too but I'm not positive.
  • http://www.shapefit.com/glycemic-index-overview.html Has a list of some of them.
  • I started on Jan 1st and have lost 24lbs as of the 24th of this month. I eat 3 meals a day and 2 snacks but they are healthy foods with little to no sugar and no white flour, only wheat flour. It's a great diet that really makes sense to me. Would love to help other people if they have any questions. You can buy the book…
  • I took this from www.gidiet.com by Rick Gallop:happy: About the G.I. Diet All diets will let you lose weight so why do 95% of them fail? The answer is simply that people cannot sustain them because: They feel hungry or deprived Diets are too complex with measuring and counting of calories, grams, blocks, points etc. They…
  • I am on the glycemic index or GI diet and I love it. It's more than just a diet, it's a new way of life. I weighed 303 lbs on Jan 1st and on Jan 24th I weighed in at 279 lbs. Just google GI Diet and you can read about it. It's a "diet" plan that really makes sense to me. I've tried weight watchers, counting carbs, pretty…
