I'm just going to treat it as a splurge day, probably not track, and go back to normal for the remainder of the week. One day shouldn't be my undoing. Besides, I find I can't eat as much as I used to even if I do give myself free reign. It's less of a risk these days, lol.

Hi Katie. I was diagnosed about a year ago - when I was 22. :X I go to a gastroenterologist and have my liver panel checked about every 6 months. I'm actually going in for another checkup on Monday. Losing weight will help, so that is certainly good advice. This diagnosis is actually what prompted me to get serious about…

Welcome to MFP! :)
-
I'm 23. :-P Feel free to add and welcome back!

You can add me if you like! I am also very close to goal and am working on transitioning into maintenance (also feeling nervous about managing that). Congrats on all the weight lost so far! :)

Welcome. Sorry to hear about all you've gone through with your gallbladder and then your foot injury. It's awful when a surgery or illness just totally knocks you off your feet! But you're back now. :) So welcome back. I'm sure you will again have success in meeting your goal.

I always welcome friend requests from active people. :) Feel free to drop a line.

I noticed that too after I posted. But the offer to add still stands for anyone else who is still around!

Hopefully I can pick up my car from the body shop tomorrow (been without him all week)! After that, I think we have plans to visit my future in-laws for an afternoon. Maybe I can convince my fiance to visit the county fair with me if I'm lucky... Oh and that 5K training we keep putting off... lol

Feel free to add me! I'm down 73 pounds and anywhere from 4-9 pounds from my goal. I'm getting married next year too - Oct. 11th 2014. :) Congratulations to you!

I have a Fitbit One and I love it. I've had it since April and wear it faithfully every day. The free syncing with MFP is also totally awesome. I haven't had any issues with false steps in the car, but my mother also has a fitbit one and occasionally has difficulty with that.

Hi there and welcome! Feel free to add me if you like. I am nearing my goal, but I will be here for a long time too. My previous weight issues have left me with some healthy problems that make it very important for me to keep track of the macronutrients I consume.. not to mention I will have to learn how to maintain before…

Feel free to add me! I'm 23 and have spent the last year+ trying to take off all the weight I put on in college and deal with the health issues it caused for me. When I was in high school, I had my fair share of problematic behaviors in terms of weight control too. For a long time it put me off of getting healthy because I…

Welcome back to MFP! Best of luck with reaching your goals this time around!

I'm there with you struggling with the last 5-10 (my goal is 140 right now, but I'm considering shooting for 135). Taking forever. But hey - worth it. Keep pushing!

Welcome! I'm 23 and I have found that the online tools (and mobile apps) are a wonderful resource for weight loss and support. Feel free to add me, I log pretty much every day. :)
-
I've added you. I'm 145ish now and want to get down to 140-135. Nearly there! :) I started much higher as you can see by my ticker. It can be done, you will get there, and your cosplays will surely be brilliant either way.

I'm 23, female - located in Southern California! I'll add you if that's okay. I've lost just over 70 pounds (50 of which have been in this year) so far. EDIT: Anyone can feel free to add me! I'm a daily logger and could always use more company.

Pretty cool idea. Something I'd definitely have tried earlier when I weighed more lol. I don't think I could do 4% in 4 weeks at this point, but cash is always a great motivator. ;)

I am a bit afraid in the sense that I am fearful I won't be able to maintain the weight loss. :/ I have never been able to maintain in the past, but last year I was diagnosed with some health problems and being at a healthy weight is no longer an option for me. I'm afraid I will fail at maintenance when I get there. But…

Congrats to you! Reaching the normal range is a HUGE accomplishment and something you should be very proud of. :) Keep of the good work. You're amazing!

Everyone's metabolism is different. I have two extremely thin friends. One eats like a bird. The other one eats like... well, I don't want to sound derogatory, but she eats FAR MORE than you might guess just by looking at her. :) It took me a long time to not feel starving all the time. Part of it was just that I loved…

This is a valid point that should be considered...

Last fall, I was diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. My liver was being damaged due to the fact that I was overweight and eating a very poor diet. My cholesterol was high too. I'm only in my early 20s! I didn't want to end up needing a liver transplant. The diagnosis was a huge wake up call that I really…
