I used to consume alota empty calories from liquids, coke, sprite, SWEET TEA... Now, I've learned to replace them with fruit and vegetable smoothies...

People should just mind their business, especially if they don't know how we're going about losing the weight!!! That's the good thing about myfitnesspal, we have the choice to enjoy the foods we want, be it a cheeseburger or a turkey patty with low fat cheese... ijs

I wake up at 5am for "ME TIME" (one whole hour dedicated to me)... 5-530 I workout, then afterwards I read my daily devotional and the bible, shower and dress, then prepare breakfast for my kids and I... My goal is to workout 6 days a week until I make some progress but usually I end up doing only 5 days during the work…

I love to walk with any Leslie Sansone DVD!!! Once I master a few of those, I intend to switch up with Zumba, Jillian Michaels and some others...

This morning I walked to the ultimate 5 day walk plan... A few minutes into the workout, my daughter walked in (5y), immediately I thought, "Awww, my baby girl is going to "walk" with me today!!!" Instead, she sat on the couch and watched me LOL!!! Well, at least she was there as motivation when I wanted to quit!!!

@iquiltoo What a way to overcome!!! I just recently started back working out with my ultimate 5 day walk plan DVD... Because it's been awhile, I'm having a hard time moving up the miles... With time, dedication and motivation, I do believe it will become easier forus all!!!

You know how everyone has that New Year's Resolution to eat right, exercise and to lose weight, well that's me every year smh... I start off doing good for the first few weeks, til I hit a patch in the road... This time has to be different!!! I deserve better and so do my kids!!!

I am also an emotional eater and now my blood pressure suffers because of it... As a single, working mother, it is so easy to find ANY excuse for emotional eating... One day short in pay period, car overheating, field trip money due for my daughter, new school supply list for my son, baby daddy lost his job so no more…

My first day challenge was OK... I did well by staying under my calorie goal but perhaps I could've made better selections with certain foods I did eat... I didn't get to workout this morning as planned but all in all, today was a good day!!!
