Using e-cigs is not "still smoking" it's vaping. Going from over 4000 nasty chemicals, 43 of which cause cancer and over 400 toxins - to a product that contains 3 harmless ingredients used in food and sometimes nicotine (how do you know the OP uses liquid that contains it?) is not "smoking" nor is it anything near the same…

£80/$130 a month for me, my bf and my son. My son can access the gym during certain hours, free childcare up to 4 hours a day, training sessions for kids now and then, karate for kids and family swim times. For us there's an excellent swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, tanning beds, access to gym 6am-10pm which has…

As long as you are hitting your goals (calories/macros) it doesn't matter what you eat barring any medical issues.
-
I try to hit my macros, especially protein and I exercise.
-
Of course they can! If this is based on jealous partners etc, well I'm bisexual so does that mean I can't have any friends at all? If your partner doesn't trust you then you have bigger problems going on than who your friends are.

I balance my calorie intake over the week, not each day. Just earn back some calories by exercising or cutting back elsewhere if you're able to.

I love Mirtazapine, it works so well for me but I had to come off it for this exact same reason, I wanted to eat ALL THE TIME no matter what, I was so so hungry, my stomach would rumble 30 minutes after having a decent meal, didn't matter what I did, upped protein, upped calories a little, drank more water, nothing helped.…

Wait? Been wearing them over a decade (not the same pair lol)

What logging? I looked back 1 month, you have 15 blank days.... *I give up*
-
If your protein is as low as the above mentions then you'll be losing muscle as well as fat so that may factor in with things. You want to be eating 1g of protein for every 1lb of LBM at least to retain what muscle you have.

This.

244cals for a 30min cardio session is good. I burn around 10cals per min doing zumba keeping my HR above 165-170 pretty much all the time. I do err on the side of caution though as HRMs can still over estimate and knock some off. So for a 70min session my HRM would say around 680 but I'd log it as say 500 but MFP would…

How many weeks/months have you been lifting and in a deficit etc?
-
I've seen people suggest every 10lb lost you should recalculate.
-
Yeah I looked and edited my post. I eat 1600 cals and can't hit 220g protein, don't think I ever have! You only really need around 1g for every 1lb of LBM anyway.
-
Nvm, I misread the OP I thought you were getting 200g protein on 1600 cals. I wanted to know the secret haha!

On here I don't think I would notice tbh. On Facebook I might notice but I have actual friends and family on there, people I have known for years, not just random interwebz people and even then if they want to delete me then that's their business, so what? Also like someone else on here, I've had people FR me, I've added…

You need it give it longer than 2 weeks, reassess in 2 months.

I've only ever used my HRM for Zumba, my heart is usually above 170 and can hit 185+ and I usually average ~10cals a minute according to mine, I'm 5ft6/f/230lb so for a 70min Zumba session it will give around 650-700 but for the purposes of error etc I usually log around 500 and it's never halted my weightloss. ETA: Mine…

No and no, you're right, I know deep down I have to keep going. :)

Thanks! Very good point, thank you! It did, it did, guess mine was near to a bad week but I'm viewing this as a lifelong thing so yup 1 week is a drop in the ocean in comparison I guess! True, quitting will only make me more angry at myself. I won't give up! Haha, good for you!! That's determination for sure :) And yeah…
-
Exactly, when I started lifting, I dropped a dress size before hardly losing any weight ;)
-
Agree with this and above, you look amazing. Why does scale weight bother you?
-
The only thing that matters when wanting to see weight come off is a calorie deficit. Are you logging correctly? Are you eating at a deficit? Are you measuring yourself? Lost any inches? Kudos on the lifting, I can manage a 132 deadlift but only just started properly about 6 weeks ago. It's fun! :D ETA: Before anyone tells…
-
Haha, love it!! :D
-
Good for you :)
-
Why force? Why not find appropriate therapy suitable to the client?
-
Very likely to be water weight. Why not just eat food at a deficit? I tend to do the same exercise most the time, makes no difference. Your body doesn't know what you're doing, it just burns the calories off. If you're not losing weight then you're either overestimating your burns, underestimating your intake or a…
