I love Zumba but was stuck at the same weight for a month ,if I changed my activity for a week by doing something else, then go back to Zumba will that break my plateau? Basically , it is the only workout I enjoy and will stick to, so man I hope so!

I believe it's a myth that your body "gets used to" or "remembers" exercise routines.
Exercise is for your health, a calorie deficit is what's needed for weight loss.
Are you eating at a deficit and logging correctly?0 -
I get great results from just doing a different exercise once a week. Plus its nice to try something else. If you try it and don't like it move along to another exercise!0

I try to record everything and do pretty good keeping under, but I do go over once in awhile and I don't make the best of choices. The last two days I've been doing better, I am actually doing the Slim Fast 14 day plan and I've lost 1.5 lbs. So maybe the change is good?0

Very likely to be water weight.
Why not just eat food at a deficit?
I tend to do the same exercise most the time, makes no difference. Your body doesn't know what you're doing, it just burns the calories off.
If you're not losing weight then you're either overestimating your burns, underestimating your intake or a combination of both.0 -
One thing that "can" happen with exercise. Is that you yourself have gotten fitter. Therefore you burn less calories doing the same exercise that once created a decent calorie deficit for you is now only making you break even. You have two choices. Up your activity intensity or lower your calories. Either is good.0

My plateau broke after I had a surgery and couldn't work out for two weeks. I maintained my calories at where I was eating throughout the two weeks and then got back to cardio at the gym and the scale started to move again for the first time in months. Still 3-4 pounds from ultimate goal and slowly creeping toward the goal.0

Thank you everyone0
