  • Even though it hurt you, (understandably so) Well done for using it as an opportunity to teach your sweet girl that beauty comes from with in. Keep it up!
  • Ah! My guy doesn't sleep through the night either. Do you run outside or use a treadmill? I prefer outside but live in Minnesota with a long, cold, and dark winter ahead. Wishing a gym membership or treadmill fit into our budget. Thanks for the encouragement and friend requests everyone!
  • Thanks for your comments! I've been on Sertraline (Zoloft) for 6 weeks and Labetalol as of yesterday. Just feeling uneasy about being on BP meds...am I in denial?? :)
  • Would love to! Add me if you wish. I have been running since May. I can't get enough of it now!
  • Sparkling cranberry or pom/blueberry - diet by ocean spray + Vodka
  • I took Pilates classes for about a year. I decided to treat myself after my father passed away and tried to better myself at the same time. I found it relaxing, challenging and rejuvenating. I absolutely loved it!! Unfortunately it just got too expensive for me to continue. I hope you enjoy your classes! Try a chair class…
  • Congrats on beating the cancer!! My mom is having her thyroid removed in two weeks. Non-cancerous masses that are getting too large. This post caught my attention because I am interested in what she might be dealing with once it's removed.
  • Welcome to MFP!! You're going to love it here. Everyone is very nice and encouraging! Friend me if you would like. :)
  • If I eat candy or drink soda, I begin to feel like I'm catching a cold. If I eat too much, I typically end up catching a cold!! Sugar weakens the immune system, so I'm told.

  • Welcome to MFP!!! You are going to love it here. The people are lovely. The stories are inspiring. My tip for you is to not let an “off” day get you down. We all have them and sometimes need them. The important thing is to notice it and start fresh tomorrow. If you get into a routine of exercise and eating right, having an…
  • Maybe start out small?? Get up 15 minutes earlier instead of 30 to start. I find that I can talk myself into getting to the gym if I say, "all i need to do is 20 minutes" It's better than nothing, right? Then once I'm there, I almost always end up doing 60.
  • I don't do it to keep my mind off food yet either...but sure will utilize this idea come winter!!! The winters up here in MN are long and coooold. Dohn’tcha know ;) I eat when I'm bored so this will help tremendously. Thanks!
  • I'm not a graphic designer, but an architectural drafter. When I was going to school, there were offers out there to purchase a student version of AutoCAD. It was much much less expensive...maybe they have something similar for the programs you're interested in.
  • Congratulations on your upcoming BIG DAY! I'm a newlywed...(2 years in September, can I still say newlywed :) I didn't loose the weight I wanted to loose for my wedding but I can proudly say I now weigh less than I did when I got married. I'm still just as excited about the progress and my wedding was still everything I…

  • I am new to jogging and experience similar discomfort. It begins half way into my route but the pain is most intense if I transition from jogging to walking. Walking for a few minutes eventually relieves the pain and I can continue my jog. The pain I experience does not linger at all after my jog the way shin splints seem…
