  • Use a food scale. Weight is the most accurate way to measure. If 1 serving is 1.3oz according to the package then measure to that.
  • It's fantastic! It gets especially enjoyable when you get into the game a little and start realizing what games SR4 was "influenced" by.
  • I starting playing Valiant Hearts. It's amazing. Near perfect. Great fun and fairly cheap. The artwork is very stylized and sharp and the game controls are very responsive. The puzzles are not overly complex; and who doesn't like a game where your companion is an ever loyal dog? Blacklight: Retribution is now launched in…
  • Warframe can be fun if you are super-patient and don't mind waiting months to earn weapons and armor. You can definitely have a decent experience without dropping any money but they really make it tempting to spend. The clan stuff was pretty cool and committing your resources to help build the clan base was kind of a cool…
  • I think e-sports is its own genre, much like motorsports. I wouldn't consider an F1 driver or a Nascar guy an athlete but you cannot deny they put in a ton of work to master their craft. Competitive gamers train intensely to be the very best. That certainly should not be confused with athletics but it shouldn't be…

  • Resogun just got a major update. They really kicked it up a notch. Has anyone played Blackguards? Is it worth picking up for $14?
  • Too true. The console market has to further (or fully) embrace digital distribution. Failure to adapt will lead to the death of consoles. I think pressure from retail outlets is what is keeping them from evolving to the next level. I doubt we'll ever see a PS5 or a new Xbox. The next generation should be full blown PCs…
  • It's interesting. I don't really know how to explain it. It's like a tactical RPG without any kind of turns... except you can stop time for your benefit. The attacks can be infinitely customized as it is based on combining base attacks with a multitude of powerups. I'm not super far yet, at least I don't think so... but it…
  • To play Devil's Advocate, PS4 has plenty of indy games and several get offered free as part of Playstation Plus. That said, Sony's sales do not come close to what you can get on Steam. I've got about 200 games and have played maybe 40 of them. They keep piling up, I keep buying more and I know that I'll never actually play…
  • For me the poor controls are game breaking. I don't understand why you can't shoot without aiming or why the cover system sometimes doesn't work. I don't like to focus on the negative but Watch_Dogs really drags me down. I was playing one of the gang bases earlier, going full stealth. I had taken down two of the three…
  • Watch_Dogs... The gameplay isn't great, missions are super repetitive despite all of the "innovative" hacking possibilities and I feel like I could control the game better by trying to tether a jar of peanut butter to my PS4 instead of the dual shock. For reasons I cannot understand, I keep coming back. I'm waiting for the…
  • Picked up the entire Far Cry collection for less than $15 yesterday. I've been playing Blood Dragon for 80's style VHS fun times.
  • PSN: en4cerd43 Xbox: en4cerd43 Steam: en4cerd43 Origin: en4cerd43 I mostly play on PS4 and Steam but will occasionally dust off the PS3. I'm the Battlefield Hardline beta and will be in the Destiny Beta as well (and the full game eventually). I have FIFA as well in case anyone has caught World Cup fever and wants to play.…
  • I go back to the Atari 2600 so Pitfall, Ghostbusters and Smurfs got me into gaming. When the NES hit the scene, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, Super Mario Bros and Legend of Zelda solidified my lifelong gaming addiction. When I discovered RPG's like Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy i knew I was going to be dumping constant hours…
  • Even the smallest changes help. I've stopped sitting down and try to pace when I'm gaming... So there's a couple extra calories. My PS3 is still my DVD player so I use it to run my DDP Yoga DVD's and the Daily Burn app (also available on Xbox with a free trial). I'm also using a fitbit and the smartphone app. I'm inclined…
  • Had a great and unexpected time with it. I enjoyed the MMO elements a lot and am glad they chose to implement multiplayer into the campaign. Nothing like being cornered and then having a few friendlies show up to save your *kitten*. I'm excited to see what changes in the beta.
  • E3 felt strange without some new piece of hardware being unveiled. It was all games... and a pile of them won't hit until next year. Strangely, no one game stood out as best in show. I wonder what the big hit from this E3 will end up being? The new Unchareted and The Order 1886 look good but I'm worried about The Order…
  • I just read the available issues of the prologue comic and I'm more excited than ever. I can't wait to see the rest of the story. Very compelling stuff!
  • Finally played the tutorial. Fun stuff. Shooting mechanics are really good and fairly crisp. The game looks great and it was fun to see the characters from the TV show make a cameo. Not sure if I'd get the full game though. Most of my time in April will be spent on Injustice.

  • I was beyond disappointed when the first screenshots of the game made their way onto the Internet but now that some video and the storyline is out there I'm excited. The battles look amazing and if the story mode works the way that is has been reported, it should be a lot of fun. As a DC fan, it is a must play for me.
  • I got to download the beta via Playstation Plus last night but I probably won't play until the weekend. I'm really excited about this game and the show. I'll post my thoughts after I get a chance to play.

  • I just started playing this too. So far, it's ok, but I haven't reached the crux of the story yet. I hope it's as immersive at some friends have told me. I love a game I can get lost in.
  • Hello gamers; I'm Eric, a 31 year old male. I'm currently 261 pounds and looking to get down to 215 and maintain from there. I was a power lifter a few years back, but a knee injury has caused me to refocus my fitness goals. I have decided to do a lot of hi rep/low weight workouts to get leaner and take some of the strain…
  • Take measurements and do yourself a favor; hide your scale for about a month. Remeasure and then weigh yourself. Stepping on the scale daily will drive you mad as you will see little to no change on a daily basis. Plus your weight will fluctuate based on water retention, things you've eaten, clothes you're wearing, etc.…
  • en4cerd43 here if anyone is looking to play some Mass Effect 3 online.
  • It would be impossible to get a true gauge of your calorie burn without a heart rate monitor. If you want something close, go with aerobics, vigorous effort.
  • Too much water would be around 3 gallons. You're well within reasonable, especially with regular exercise. Remember, 8 cups is only one half gallon.
  • A lot of people want you to fail because you are getting results and they aren't. It's a lame psychological way of keeping you on their level. You get enjoyment out of different things now; healthy eating and exercise and they still enjoy greasy food, not exercising and not working toward goals. People do not understand…
  • That 2200 calories has to be coupled with exercise. Almost all dieticians will tell you not to lose more than 2 pounds per week. With regular exercise, assuming you burn about 500 calories from exercise per day, 2200 sounds good. Remember if you eat at your maintenance and burn 500 calories a day that will equal 3500 which…
  • Maybe you can look into a veggie supplement like Greens Plus or Turbo Greens. It's a bunch of veggies ground up into a powder you can drink. They add some flavor so they don't taste too bad. Then all you have to worry about is your entrees.
