  • yak. I hate the stevia/sweetener aftertaste. But other than that- the texture and density is on the better end of the spectrum for a protein bar.
  • Tell your doctor to eff off, then find a new one. They aren't going to call CPS on you if you gain 21+ lbs, and gaining over 20lbs, especially in later pregnancies is not uncommon. Unless you have a medical condition that makes this inadvisable (for example, but not limited to- Gestational Diabetes, History of Pre-E, both…

  • It works great for some people (not zero carb, that sounds nuts, but very low carb or even low carb) but as someone ON a low carb diet I would say that unless you have other outside factors that make low carb the best option for you (thyroid or endocrine disorders namely) then just a deficit should work too!

  • International Executive Assistant. That means I kick *kitten* and take names GLOBALLY! muahahaha
  • Have you been tested for thyroid and endocrine disorders? I have an endocrine disorder and I have to be extremely specific about what I eat or no matter how low my calories are, I never lose weight. Hang tight, you can do this and it WILL start to melt off!!!
  • I set the most aggravating alarm I can on the table across the bedroom so I HAVE to get up to turn it off, then I set another one for a minute after the first in the kitchen so when I get up to turn off the one in my room, the one down the hall goes off. Once I'm down the hall my dogs get up too and want to go out and at…
  • Emotionally driven appetite loss is completely normal (in my opinion. totally not a doctor) Just make it count when you do eat and yes, supplement with shakes to meet your calorie needs. Other than that- reach out for support on what is bothering you. A close friend, a professional, start a blog to let those feelings out.…
  • I work in an office and wear mine at my desk with the app pulled up on my phone - it never registers anything other than walking as steps for me (even if I swing my arm back and forth TRYING to make it count it.... smart little bugger) so I wouldnt worry too much about that. However- when I do workouts like kettlebells or…

  • Feel free to check out my diary for low carb ideas. I eat keto (very low carb, moderate protein, high fat) so if anything it might help you with some ideas of other foods to add in! :)
  • I may or may not have demolished a crave case by myself once upon a fatter-year..... No ragrets (not even one letter)
  • eat calorie dense foods instead of low calorie snacks. (not like big macs and fried chicken, but nuts/seeds/avocado etc... eg, a 1/4c of walnuts has almost 300 calories and healthy fats.)
  • after YEARS of being overweight I can tell you this- you have to want it more than you want the excuses to feel valid. Until you find your reason, your all consuming more important that breathing reason to stick with it it will be hard, every single day. Just keep fighting. If you slip up, don't let the rest of your day go…
  • I found that Im wearing the same size... they just fit better. Like my jeans- they used to be tight straight out of the wash (I challenge any woman here to tell me they have never experienced the dreaded dilemma of "I dont want to wash my jeans, they are so comfortable right now....") but now they fit perfectly straight…
  • This is completely irrelevant to your post but... are you sideways on a pole in your avatar??? (because that is seriously impressive) ETA: I just creeped the rest of your pictures. Holy crap that looks HARD.
  • I get angry with my food when it wont get in my face fast enough. Does that count?

  • I don't eat anything that doesn't have a label with nutrition facts on it that I can cross check. Too much bad info out there from people only looking to track certain things and not realizing their entries crowd the database with incorrect BS.
  • last I checked griddles are not a meat product...
  • Tell him like it is. Tell him exactly that, that you care about him and want the best for him and you are CONCERNED for him.... and your friendship. Good Luck!

  • I dont "cheat" but I have had a few days where a meal or two was outside of my goals. I don't ever pick a day and Free For All it- but if I am out and REALLY REALLY REALLY want that kettlecorn I don't freak out over it. I just make sure I get right back on track.

  • WHY HAVE I NEVER THOUGHT OF THIS?!?!!!!
  • I have been doing keto for 30 days (as of today! woop woop!!) and have lost 22lbs. This includes like 4 "cheat" days (2 weddings and 2 work events) that I just didn't worry about what I ate, and enjoyed the event and food served. So far I feel great- I am neeeever wandering around looking for something to eat like I used…
  • mine are at 40 or less a day, but most days I hit 30 or less (total, not net. Net I'm in the teens to 20s) Keto has been the ONLY thing that has helped me lose weight. I was totally skeptical, then 5 lbs went, then 10, now 20.... without a stitch of exercise. I'll add that in soon enough! :)
