You look absolutely incredible and I LOVE your attitude.

I do depending on the size of the thread. Sometimes these threads get up to 15 pages or more. If the OP asked something that I feel like resonding to, then I will, but I may or may not go through the entire thread first. Besides, by the time I've read through that many pages, there could be another couple tacked on.

OMG, that makes no sense.

You look great! Good work.

High five! Awesome results. You look so happy and adorable.

Do what feels comfortable. The one thing that is good about telling people that you are making changes is that it prevents you from eating the bad stuff in order to continue hiding it. Like, if you were to go out to a pub and noboby knew you were trying to make a change, then you might order a cheeseburger and fries in…

That's happened to me twice. I went to the emergency room and it turned out to be acid reflux.

Awesome, awesome, awesome post!!!!!

If only we could all meet up. We could help each other drink within our calorie limit and drink a toast to our 2012 hot new bods.

You're doomed for failure! Sorry.

One of the guys on MFP explained in another thread that what we call "toning up" is a combination of hypertrophy (muscle increase) and fat loss (for those of us who need to lose the weight). So, if you want to "tone", you need to lift weights. I can't remember who said it but I thought it was very helpful.

I have one. I have learned so much and would not have achieved half my success without him. The board is mixed on whether PTs are worth it (from what I've seen). I think a good one is (I've had four and this one is the one I click with). I think part of the reason I am happy with my PT is that I found someone who is really…

No idea. I am not looking forward to it.

You look fantastic! congratulations.

I'm sorrry to hear this. 13 years is a long time to be with someone. It must be a huge adjustment. As someone said above, you should first grieve for the relationship. I don't have any advice but wanted to respond and give you whatever support I can (which isn't much).

Me neither. Some friends of mine wanted me to have a party, which I considered until I realized that it would basically be me and a number of couples. Um, no thanks. I can't believe I'm even thinking about this already.

No, but I think it can be depending on how you shop. Before I was trying to eat healthy, the way I shopped was to go once a week and get everything at once. If I try to do that with healthy food, I find that it goes bad before I can eat it. So, I was heading out to replace. I now shop a few times aweek for smaller amounts…

I'm single, which is crazy because I'm awesome! LOL I am DREADING New Year's. It's worse then Valentines.

A hot topic of discussion on the boards seems to be women lifting heavier weights (which by the way I used to think I did until I saw that amounts some ladies were lifting - impressive). When I started lifting "my" heavy weights, I noticed a dramatic change in my arms. I lift heavier with fewer reps. In a couple of weeks I…

I applaud you for knowling your limitations. The inability to say no to the types of foods that your mom's friends are bringing over is the reason most of us are on this board (imo). I think that this is probably causing you more stress then it should. Relcoating the party is only the best option if you are not going to go…

THIS ^^^^^^

YEAH! That's awesome. Keep up the good work.

Do whatever feels comfortable without hurting yourself. I think a lot of women don't either want to lift too havy (the old fear of not wanting to "bulk up") or not believing that they can. I lift 200 lbs on the leg press. md

I don't want to keep quoting all of the images. All of you ladies did a great job and look absolutely amazing : )

You look amazing! Great job!

Liberte - lemon flavoured. Delicious.

Hey, I'm no expert but I've started lifting heavier weights. I'm your height but about 40lbs heavier. Basically, the system I use is I do 3 sets of 8. If, by the time you get to 7, you can do it realitively easy (i.e. not struggling to get that final life), then you should go up a weight. On the other hand, if it gets too…

I am not expert, but I would suggest finding a PT (if you go that route) who is knowledgeable with strength and conditioning training. It's a great way to strengthen your core and it can incorporate a lot of corrective exercises for those with chronic injuries.
