Download the app "Zombies, Run!" It makes running (or walking) fun. There is a whole support group there to encourage you to run, walk, or shamble away from the Zombies. It got me moving.

Mmm...not anymore. They don't taste nearly as good as they used to. http://nowiknow.com/lyin-fries/ Walk into virtually any American McDonald’s and the menu is roughly the same, as is how that food is prepared. The french fries, for example, are processed at a central plant before sent off the local restaurants for deep…

Dove dark chocolate promises...only 44 calories and very satisfying. I eat 2 a day and have lost a pound a week for 4 months. Don't deny yourself.

Go to Home then Check in. Select weight. At the bottom of the page is a button to edit previous entries. Select that. You will see a place to change starting weight and date. I had the same problem when I started over.
-
Look at the date at the top of the page. There is an arrow on each side. Left arrow moves you back one day. RIght arrow moves you forward. The calendar lets you pick any day to look at.

I get Dove Dark Chocolate Promises and let one melt in my mouth. Very satisfying and only 50 calories.

Try women's sizes?

The diy quest bars are similar to your recipe. They call for peanut butter, protein powder, flax meal and honey. However, it is hard to stop eating them once I start.

I use Libra, a free app for androids. You can set your height, beginning weight, goal weight, goal loss per week, and the number of days for the rolling average. It shows you the trend line, bmi, etc.

The grammar police in my head screams, "No, no, no." The word "ideal" is a superlative and nothing can be more or less ideal. Either it is ideal or it is not ideal. That would be like saying "more best" or "less best".

Are you entering your weight each day? If the starting weight is always the same, the weight after 5 weeks will be the same.

This sounds really strange, but I like it. I mix one packet of stevia raw (natural sweetener) with a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a half gallon of water. I fill an insulated cup with ice and pour in the water. Strangely delicious.

A word of caution about those DIY Quest bars. They are so delicious. They were the beginning of the end of my weight loss. I made them to tempt a picky 4 yr old to gain weight. She didn't like them, but I did! I put the mini chocolate chips in and they tasted just like chocolate chip cookie dough.

I buy the Premier Protein Shake premade. It comes in a little juice box.

Whether or not it is advisable to buy local depends on where you live. In the Seattle area, we get Public Service Announcements telling us there is so much arsenic in the soil we should take our shoes off before entering the house. When I researched the advisability of buying local, I found out that the soil has so few…

She did eat the muffins she helped make this morning. Next time she comes over, we will make the Qwest bars. Her sister refused to try the bars I sent home with her mother. So the mom and I got to eat the extra calories we didn't need!!

She is a 4 yr old picky eater. She refuses to taste most things. She was grossed out by the texture. Too young to have acquired the cookie dough mindset. (If it looks like cookie dough, it must be good.)

I failed at resisting temptation. The person I made them for wouldn't even taste them.....I have eaten 3 batches so far. Must. Stop. Making. Them.

http://www.sweetcheetah.com/2013/07/diy-quest-bars.html This recipe for home made qwest bars is delicious. It has been the undoing of my weight loss. I made some for a little girl that doesn't like to eat. She won't eat them, but I can't stop. They are discussed on this thread.…

My second batch was sticky. The only difference I know of was the honey. The first batch had crystalized honey. The second batch was from a new bottle. If the teens left any after last night, I will try mixing in a little more flax.

I enjoyed it too much. And I don't even like peanut butter. I was really making them for a little 4 yr old that needs the calories and doesn't like to eat. That is why I made them smaller. I bought some mini choc chips to add to the next batch. This batch may not last until she gets here. My teens like it, too. What is not…

Mine had a perfect texture. I used honey, ground flax seed, peanut butter and Biggest Loser Protein powder. 4 scoops equaled 1/2 cup.

I am a grazer. Sometimes, I group my snacks so they look like a meal. If I am cooking something that takes more than 30 min, I usually eat something else while I wait. I never plan in advance. That is why I love MFP, in the evening, I look at my macros and see what needs to be eaten.

As a foster parent, my children have been the beneficiaries of your kind of volunteer work. We call them CASAs here. Court Appointed Special Advocate. The CASA is the only one in the system that speaks for the best interest of the child and it does make a difference. The CaseWorker, the parents, the court, even the foster…
