  • I think I might want to alternate it with jogging my dog, but I really want to fit in my fall/winter clothes as the weather cools down.
  • Hi everyone. I just started Ripped in 30 on my xbox One this week. She doesn't explain how many times you are supposed to complete each workout per week. Can anybody let me know? Thanks.
  • I like to compete, so you can add me on as acestar7109911.
  • Recently started using again.
  • I can try to become active to this group. I just started to use this website again this week after months off.
  • I had seizures for the first time when I was 12, due to a virus. I was then seizure free until 16, when I was diagnosed with epilepsy. They said that I have epilepsy due to the brain trauma I received from the virus. I was seizure free after being put on meds until 19. I then began having simple partial seizures along with…
  • I'm interested in the FB page. Your info reminds me of myself who also to compete running and is now off track without a coach and teammates. Give me any info needed.
  • My dog helps to keep me motivated. I see how much energy he has, and how he wants to go and walk and run. I try to enjoy the exercise with him. I feel bad when he has to stay in the house.
  • Is wii Zumba a lot like regular Zumba?
  • I've tried wii fit and have had pretty good strength training/yoga, but didn't feel like I had the best cardio work compared to running. I'm not sure how much better wii fit plus is. I have been playing Just Dance on the wii, and I get a lot more sweat from those games.
  • I am only training for 5Ks now though, but I can probably give a story or two.
  • I'd like to join too. I really miss not having teammates and a coach like I did in HS and college. I make excuses so easily on why not to run. Let me know how this works.
  • Have any suggestions for me not to make excuses? I have difficulty in getting my workouts and housework done. I get distracted by tv. I used to run with a coach and teammates, but I don't have that anymore. I can't join a club, because I don't have transportation. I need good motivation that I can use on my own.
  • I've often eaten kare kare with just the vegetables, and left the oxtail to the side. Not sure how the broth would taste if cooked it without it.
  • I just joined the group. From PA, near Pittsburgh. Love seeing Filipino dishes on this website. Makes me want to cook more, and hope I can make them healthy. Not sure if I can ever do that with dishes like lumpia and lechon.
  • Have your seizures been in better control now that you lost these 13 lbs? I don't think losing weight has effected me, but people always worry about me running and walking on my own.
  • There are choices between deep cleaning and light cleaning on the exercise choices. I use them unless I'm staying still by sorting on a desk or washing dishes. It gets me off of the couch, and has motivated me to keep my house cleaner. I consider vacuuming, dusting, etc. light and would consider maybe spring cleaning such…
  • Welcome Manuel ! Some of my family asked why I wasn't interested in the VMS, and the effects of exercise scared me away from it. Good luck on getting back on track. Exercise helps improve my mood when feeling depressed. Have you tried yoga? There has been research stating that this exercise can help decrease seizures.

  • Haha. That's me! Now I do feel so bad knowing others do it.
  • I track my dog walking by averaging my mph with the total distance and amount of time it took. It slows me down, but he loves and needs walks. I use the logyourrun app to help me identify speed.
  • Thanks! It's pretty cool!
  • Thanks for some extra inspiration to both do some extra exercise and get my housework and gardening done. How can you put estimates on how many calories you burned?
  • Good luck! I've only run 5ks and 10ks too and there are 2 half marathons in my neighborhood that I really want to train for after I get back in shape. Let me know how it goes.
  • Hi everyone! I was a dedicated HS and division III runner who got very off track after finishing my last XC season in 2003. If anyone wants to help get me back to running regularly again, please let me know. Thanks!
  • I remember that part in the movie! It's Tom Hanks yelling at his players. I love it and the movie!
  • Thanks for all of the suggestions everyone! Everyone is motivating. I have each of the bedrooms completed so far.
  • I'm excited about this too! Good luck to everybody in becoming healthier, decreasing their seizures, and becoming seizure free!

  • I don't go to a gym anymore, because I can't drive (epilepsy). I have a hard time waking up in the morning, but when I do, and work out early the whole day goes smoother and I get more accomplished. Plus you don't have to worry about it the rest of the day.
  • I agree with everybody else on the run/ walk training until you get used to it. Register for a 5k fun run/ walk where it is less competitive and it is acceptable to take walk breaks. Take a few months to train, so you feel ready. You seem social online, so if you never went to a 5k before, .I bet you'll really like the…
  • I know exactly what you mean...I am currently at a healthy weight but have been gaining a few lbs a year since I hit 30. I know I need to exercise like I used to, and can't afford to eat whatever I want anymore. I'm using this site to keep me on track after I lose just a few lbs. I don't want diabetes which runs in my…
