I am sticking to 1200ish calories, lots of protein and low carb, just started adding exercise. I am 5 weeks in on Semaglutide 1 shot in on the next dose up and i have lost 17 pounds

I just took my 5th dose, I am down 16 pounds and feel fine, only side effect has been constipation. I am looking for some friends to help be accountable and help cheer each other along.

I have and it has worked, but after having a baby at 40 ive struggled bad, these pills are an amazing help for giving me my energy back and making me feel so much better everyday, I am just not sure the best diet to combine with them, as they say high protein but I am not good on a low carb diet.

It always amazes me that rather then people share what works for them, because everyone is different...People who have weight issues (otherwise why would you be here) all of a sudden are fitness experts....makes no sense to me.

I added Orange Essense Prunes to my diet 2-3x a week and it has helped greatly. 1 serving is 5 prunes....100 calories.

My thyroid was killed off with radioactive iodine, I am now Hypo on medication. I have lost 41lbs in 6 months just following calorie counting and exercising at least 5X a week for a minimum of 30 mins. The highest I have set my calories is 1800 and I didnt eat back exercise calories and its been slow but steady.

I to am a bleiever in the alka seltzer cold that you drink, wow what a great medication thats OTC. I find that I eat constantly when im sick including sucking down orange juice....which adds up quick.

I have been overweight for 16 years so I set my goal at what i hoped I could reach and maintain for awhile, I will still be considered Overweight....but I just want to see what I can achieve.

The hardest part is starting...You can do it. Just make yourself do some form of fitness every day some days will be more some days will be less and eventually it will become a habit.

Everyone is different but I would say an average of 10 calories per minute walked.

Use the Running up stairs and enter your time and perhaps cut the calories burned in half to account for when you go down them.

I would try eating the 1600 and not weighing for a week or two, theres no way you will gain. I do 1700 calories a day, my weight loss has been slow I have no thyroid just medication but I just keep working at it. I weigh 226 now. from a high of 274. You can do it!

Thanks everyone! I know everyone one is different hence what i wrote in my post, just because Im interested in ideas doesnt mean they will work for me, but its nice to see what is working for others and to know that others are getting there to! I really appreciate everyones input!

I had read that to. I was eating 1500-1600 and wasnt losing anything I bumped it up to 1800 and slowly my weight loss is moving again. I dont think you will gain if anything you might just maintain which you are doing anyways if your not losing. Worth a try I say!

They told me I might gain weight going on Prozac and I lost 34lbs since I started taking it, it seemed to do wonders for me. Im glad I didnt start on something that made me gain I would of been devastated.

I just purchased SlimQuick Chocolate Dream. 100 Calories a scoop I used skim milk and a banana and some PB and it was amazing...and came in at 300 calories....

I love the Healthy Choice Steamables, they are fantastic for lunch and keep me full and taste very fresh. I have had a couple that I didnt like as far as flavor, but to each their own The Asian Sesame Chicken one is my favorite. I think they are great if your in a bind and need easy.

I like to use flour tortillas a some no fat refried beans and little bit of cheese and heat up for a few seconds in the microwave. Keeps me full and satisfied for quite awhile.

Years ago my dr told me how many calories to increase per day and how to count exercise if i did safe exercise during pregnant. I would ask your Dr. and follow their lead, they dont want you to overgain either.

I used to hate mushrooms but after sauting them in a little olive oil and putting on my burgers or in stuff now I can eat them cooked all day long they are so yummy I feel like I missed out before by not eating them so you might try different types of cooking them etc and see if you will like them.

I pretty much weight daily, I record everytime I lose a pound and if it fluctuates I dont worry about it untl I lose the next pound. As long as i am doing whats right then it will get there!

I have found the issue of sometimes when I scan an items barcode the item will match but shows a higher calorie count then the package...that makes me suspicious but what do you do??
