HI so ive been on MFP for 611 days and my weight has been a roller coaster. Well i think i have finally got it down maybe
looking for some extra support to help and to give on my journey. I was recently put on HBP medicine which kinda freaks me out never had to take anything like that before. I dont really have at home support its more like sabotage here. I live with 2 dudes who eat whatever they like. I have 150lbs to lose. I havent rode a horse in about a year because i just wont do that to their back. I really want to get back to riding i miss it terribly. SO if you need support im here to help and could use some myself

The hardest part is starting...You can do it. Just make yourself do some form of fitness every day some days will be more some days will be less and eventually it will become a habit.0

My fiance constantly brings home bags of candy and tubs of ice cream while I stew and munch on a protein bar that claims to be double chocolate. I understand where you're coming from on that.
Feel free to add me if you'd like.0 -
We're already MFP friends but I'll gladly give you some extra support. When I started out needing to lose 235 pounds it seemed daunting at first but what made me successful with this first 152 pounds was getting to the core of what caused the obesity in the first place, getting that fixed and setting myself up for success through healthy eating and consistently exercising. Also giving myself a junk food meal once a week and 2 desserts a week. I also cook everything from scratch and don't eat processed foods. My drink of choice is water but I do give myself juice and pop once in a while.
I don't deprive myself of any food. I have white potatoes and white rice. I eat pork, ground beef and chicken. I don't eat the same foods all the time. I just make healthier versions of the classics like meatloaf or chicken and mashed potatoes or chili. Variety is so important to keep on track. Just remember why you want to lose weight. Because you want to feel better about yourself, look better not feel ashamed. You want to feel proud of such an accomplishment as losing 150 pounds. It's thrilling. Believe me! You push through those bad days and work out no matter what. Don't make excuses you're only cheating yourself. And most importantly love yourself through the process. Find out why you got to the place you are at and work through it. I guarantee you the rewards far outweigh the sacrifices you will make to lose that weight. Hang in there. And from a former "tried and failed many times" kind of person success is possible. YOU CAN DO THIS!0 -
