Yes. Good point. Thank you for the positive thought. My blood pressure is at least doing great thanks to good eating habits. My skin is clear too!

I had less than a slice of pizza the other day. Counted it in as calorie. Still didn't effect my progress---for good or bad. Have been staying between 1000-1200 calories...logging each bite carefully for a week now. No change in pounds or measurements. I'm about to give up but then I really don't crave anything. I don't…

Hi SW. Sorry to hear you have a painful disease. Living with chronic pain is no fun...It's hard to stay positive. I went back on my word and did a little sneak peek at the scale this morning. SHouldn't have...not an ounce lost. I figured but why am I not surprised. When one has an autoimmune disease (or several going on at…

I'd like to put my 2 cents in on this discussion. Once one has honestly and accurately recorded one's calories and nutrition and is STILL not losing weight, OR inches, a visit to the doctor may be in order. (I stress inches as an importance since the scales can some times reflect water weight when there actually has been a…

I agree with the others here. Start logging your food in the food section of this site. IT will provide you with nutritional and calorie and portion size information and will analyze your diet. That is the only way to be scientific about it. Did you mean you are 5'10" and 120lbs? If so, you are under weight and need to be…

Well after thinking things over, I have decided not to weigh myself until my MFP 5 week date comes up. The reason being, I'm too scared to see each week that I having lost anything and then just quit and give up and gain more. So, I am just gunna keep logging daily food and calories and exercise and hope for the best. I…

Hi. Just wondered how you're doing since the vitamin D. I had the same thing...very low. Since starting 4000mg vit. D daily, I've at least stopped gaining.

Terrific! Thank you!

Hi. Thanks for writing back! I thought for a moment I was the only 50-something here. I've heard about B12 and need to take some too. You and I are in an exclusive club I bet. Just a few pounds to lose as opposed to 20 30 or 40. What types of exercise do you? I remember last year (before I knew I was vit D deficitent)…

Hello, dear. I am so sorry for your back whoas. There are more people than you think who are in the same boat. Let's row together! I too suffer from chronic pain in my back due to scoliosis. I am also hypothyroid and have parathyroid adenomas. To top it all off, I am in my 50's which slows my metabolism to a crawl. The…

I tried the Jillian drink for a few days for my bloat and water weight. Lost 1/2 lb. Gained it back the next day. I am on a salt-free, low carb diet. NOTHING helps.
