First of all, I know 5 days is not enough but I expected to at least lose some water weight. Nothing. This is typical for me. I live with autoimmune disease so my body is like one giant piece of ticky tac that attracts extra weight. oh well...at least I haven't gained. And yes, I know it hasn't been that much time yet so I must weight...uh I mean wait.

Are you losing inches just not lbs? If not....

Every choice you make paves the way for a future we will be more or less happy with...we have to make the choice as to which future we want. Good for you for sticking with it even with no immediate gratification. I know it's different how we think of something rationally and how it effects us emotionally...life changes (weight loss or otherwise) are not for the faint of heart! Keep pressing on:)3

I only weigh myself every two weeks (used to be weekly) as it avoids daily disappointment. Also, my calorie intake varies daily so, although I aim for it to be my Goal target, I'm more interested in my weekly average.1

As long as you stick to your calorie goal, you will eventually shed pounds.0

Not everyone gets that initial whoosh, especially if you've also started exercising at the same time. My first two weeks of losing I actually gained two pounds.2

I gained 3 pounds the first week this time. Now Ive lost them plus 2 more0

Nope. No inches either.0 -
I try and remember that even if I'm not seeing it on the scale, every better choice I make is resulting in other improvements to my health.0

Yes. Good point. Thank you for the positive thought. My blood pressure is at least doing great thanks to good eating habits. My skin is clear too!2
