LaCroix is what I drink. According to their website, it contains water, carbonation, and natural flavors. The "natural flavors" are "derived from the natural essence oils extracted from the fruits used in each of our LaCroix flavors. There are no sugars or artificial ingredients contained in, nor added to, these extracted…

I have body image issues no matter what I weigh. Don't let how you think other people might perceive you stop you from doing ANYTHING. Just do what's good for you.

At my house, the rule is shoes off if they are wet or muddy. Dry is okay. But personally, I'd rather have my shoes off. And I usually bring slippers to homes I visit, because my feet get cold.

Can someone help me with the sideways pictures?
-
I have no gifs. I only wanted to say that many of us like both cats AND dogs. And if you don't like either, then don't get either. Thanks for the happy pictures!

My exercise is attending kickboxing and sparring classes at a martial arts studio. I will not be able to attend on the days it is closed for the holidays, being that the instructors have families of their own and would like to celebrate the holidays. So I will have a few extra days off. But those first classes back after a…

Also, I've had a male therapist who is gay, and I specifically asked him about this. He said they both just ignore it, like you would any other bodily function you can't control (like a burp or fart). It's only an issue if you make it an issue.

Not at all. I've been getting massages for more than 20 years, and most of my therapists have been male.

I don't belong to a gym, but I do belong to a martial arts studio. I pay $125 per month for up to five days of kickboxing a week, plus sparring on Saturdays. Although I still feel that is an incredibly high fee, I've lost weight, lowered my blood pressure, and regained significant fitness. If I go to class four times a…

I am 5'8, and after reading this thread, I'm kind of astounded. When I was in the best shape of my life (two sport athlete and off-season workouts), I could not get my weight below 156. At that time (in 1985) that was a size 13, but my measurements were about 38-30-38. I played volleyball in spandex shorts and half-shirts…

Yes. The Sudafed you have to sign for at the pharmacy. It cut my appetite in half. Unfortunately, it also gave me heart palpitations and higher blood pressure. But for the eight months I used it, I dropped weight. If your question is, "Have I tried a HEALTHY, successful diet pill?" then the answer is no.

I have the opposite problem. Large band size, smaller cup size. The industry assumes fat chicks all have big boobs. I don't. I have a broad back. And wearing extenders only makes the straps fall down. Sucks.

You look pretty good when you're all sweaty and gross.

And I am psychotic without it! :)

I am on Seasonique to help control peri-menopausal symptoms. As a woman in my mid-40s, it would really suck to put on weight because of that. I have been overweight for the last 15 years, but none of it was due to the bc. Good luck!

This upsets me a bit. My 44 year old sister had gastric band surgery a few years ago for a variety of reasons. She had become extremely morbidly obese. Both of her knees have been without cartilage for at least 10 years now, due to wear and tear from sports while younger and weight when older. She also has thyroid issues…

I'm from Wisconsin. CHEESE all the way!

The pineapple slices that were part of my fruit side at lunch.

What the others have said about the tape measure: USE IT instead of the scale for a while. Lifting may cause weight gain, but you are building muscle and losing fat. Monitor your progress in inches instead of pounds and you'll be happier.

I threw shot put and discus in high school. I went to a highland games in Wisconsin a few years ago, and I really wanted to try these events. Good for you! Good luck, and have fun!

I'm 5'8" and kickbox as exercise. I eat between 1800-1900 a day and don't eat the exercise calories back. I have been losing about a pound a week.

These are awesome. Want. :) For Halloween, of course.

At a size 22, the robe should be big enough. I have done spa days as large as a size 24, and my robe was adequate. Nothing was hanging out. :) Good for you to celebrate! Enjoy the pampering.

There are many foods I don't care for, and some I will avoid if possible, but I only have one food I "refuse" to eat. That's honey. I watched a nature program that showed how bees make it, and it grossed me out so much I will never eat it knowingly.

Thanks for this! I was a Pizza Hut-aholic before I started MFP. These last couple of months without it have been fairly difficult craving-wise. I am going to try this. Thank you!
8% of the female population is an hourglass. I don't think we should be defining beauty so narrowly. No one can help her bone structure or natural breast size.
Thank you. At my best weight/shape, I have small boobs and narrow hips. Since I have gained weight, most of it went to my stomach and torso. If…

My sister is obese and has gone through lap band surgery. I heard this from her on more than one occasion while we were talking on the phone: [conversation] Her: "I've been eating so much better lately. Hold on a sec, I'm placing my order." Me: "Where are you" Her: "At Culver's, in the drive-through." Me: "Okay, they have…

@ jbuck93: I hope I look as good as this at my goal weight! You are proportionate, have a waist, and have a smooth stomach. I should be so "obese"! :)

I wanted my parents to get cable TV, but they said NO WAY were they paying for television. I was a teenager during the start-up of MTV, and I didn't see a video unless I was at a friend's house. My parents are in their late 60s now, and they STILL won't pay for cable.
