I'm 5'10 and big-boned. I'm currently 190 and was 170 for a long time. 170 was fine for me if I toned a bit, so I'm hoping to be 150-160 toned. Anything under 150 would look bad on me, way too skinny! Good luck :)

i'm 5'10 and at 172lbs and my goal weight would be around 145-150. I was at some point 160 (which is not even 20lbs) and there was a TOTAL difference!! I'm sure you will see a nice difference with 20lbs :)

You should try the Insanity workout that you can do at home. It's intense and many people have had amazing results! I'm only on day 3 so can't speak for myself yet...but this workout is killer! I also have a gym membership and let me tell you that 30-40min of INSANITY is far more exhausting and beneficial than 1:30 spent…

I have another question (lol) ... for the workout, if I do it in my living room, I'm on hardwood floor (I don't have carpet in my house) and I would have about 10 ft x 8ft of space to do my workout --- is this enough? Also, do I need a yoga mat, weights or any of those kinds of things ?? Thanks!!

I eat around 1500cal/day net. I'm 5'10 172lbs and should be eating between 1700-2200. I started up the gym not long ago and I haven't lost pounds, pretty much the same, but I lost 2 1/2 inches in 13 days (and going to measure myself again tonight to see the progress since the last measuring). Thanks everyone for your replies! I will try and stay around the 1500cal/day and go from there. As for the comment about loosing that much weight so fast, hence losing muscle -- I do strenght train at the gym. I usually do 30-40min cardio (burn around 300-350cal) and then strenght train for 30min + do extra ab workouts…
