  • Week 1: no eating after 9pm Week 2: no cookies Week 3: no French fries Week 4: no Junk cereal Will have to repeat Week 4! Just changed to a different sugar laden cereal Down almost 4 lbs but a few pounds was just water buildup... lots of salt food Onward!

  • Yes lost my ER position due to Covid fatigue and shortness of breath. I am working a temp job in the hospital still. But too tired even to walk daily when working....got 2 interviews this week... Glad to hear you are recovering.
  • April was a bust. One pound lost. Lots of emotional eating. A1c too high. So mad!
  • Lost job due to Covid lung complications. Depressed so hitting McD a lot so weight bouncing up and down a few pounds. Trying to regroup emotionally
  • Had oldest friends visit from out of state and got trapped in lots of eating out but think I have come thru it... back on track finally.. so back to March 1 weight...Onward!
  • Jan update 1. Lost 2.5lbs 2. Developing after work habits of 30 min workout - walk after work - bought exercise bike for after work 3. Finally a little better nutrition 4. Totally fatigued on days off.. unable to do any exercise
  • Working on losing weight gained in December... still don't have taste all the way back yet... but eating lots of junk. Working 20 hours a week in covid vaccine registration area but hope to be back in the ER in a few weeks... my strength is much better... not as fatigued... what a wild year,eh?

  • Cleared for light duty at work. Cleared by cardiologist who was amazed how long i stayed on the testing treadmill! Thank goodness I was in shape before getting Covid. Energy spent on making appts, sister's surgery, financial concerns but I can feel the desire to eat healthy sneaking in. ONWARD!
  • Aha! Cardiac tests show no heart damage from coronavirus infection! Onward to Healthy Barb 2022.
  • I have been out of work and sick with coronavirus for 10 weeks. Hoping to get back to light duty by Thanksgiving. I need to practice wearing real clothes and shoes! And dealing with impatient people! ( we have a lobby nurse like your bank position)

  • Starting today! Sat at table to eat. Made zucchini waffles with a little almond flour in mini waffle maker.. tough tough work shifts but got 4 days off to recharge and start fresh nutrition wise
  • 1. Get rid of diet coke.done 3rd week 2. No fries at Chik Filet.done 2 weeks 3. Change processed freezer food to low fat done for 1 week 4. Starting today, sit only at table to eat GOAL IS 6 LB LOSS BY 8/8.

  • That's great! I made it to the beach to swim 5 times in 2 weeks! So my desire to eat better is kicking in.

  • Daughter out of work so spending time with her and checking on elderly father on my days off. I did some rug exercises last week.not pretty! We can go outside to exercise so walked to my sisters ( one mile away) but had recreation bike ride earlier with daughter. Just no cardiac exercise...
  • Trying out indoor bike trainer. Only benefit is getting to listen to music. But at least it is exercise. My city has a curfew now and mandatory mask if outside the home starting on thursday

  • race was too rough. swam half mile only staying at home with little exercise all races and areas closed not sick tho just lazy binge watching Netflix
  • Week Update 1. have lost 2 pounds. no fun in eating certain foods if I can't read while eating.   • I swim in Gulf of Mexico. water temp is 70 ( wetsuit legal for races) Feb summary ...some body resistance workout on my 12 hour work days ...no yoga yet .... did lose 2 lbs .....adjusted daily macros after analyzing blood sugar for 2 weeks. ....way behind on triathalon training but hoping for a healthier March.
