I felt fine on a 1000 cal deficit when I started. No possible way I could do it now without feeling awful, or making up for it the next day. You have to provide your body with enough fuel.

It's not so much that I'm not hungry but I'm too busy to notice. Love it when that happens :)
-
I am always ravenous 2-3 days before, but then have decreased appetite for 2-3 days once it starts. I don't worry about either because it balances out :)
-
I donate them almost immediately once I've shrunk out of them. I don't want to see them anymore, and I don't ever want to fit in them again :)
-
Yes, but probably only because I replaced my full-fat milk and sugar laden coffees with green tea. At 3-4 cups a day I can't see getting a metabolism boost but I cut out hundreds and hundreds of calories by switching. Plus I feel better for it :)
-
LMAO!!

When I started out I replaced my breakfast (a cup of coffee) with a chocolate shake and teaspoon of coffee powder. I know it had no magical weight loss properties but having something slightly better than basically nothing for breakfast got me through when before I would usually start binging on high sugar foods around…

I rarely snack after dinner (besides cups of tea) so its usually 6.30pm-7.30am.

Curious too...
-
I reached my original goal, and have now reassessed and updated my ticker. Nine pounds to go! Hehe :)
-
I wish I could say that I have your courage. You're amazing :)

I don't take intentional "breaks" but for some reason I occasionally feel like eating more - so I do. I still make reasonable choices that aren't too different to what I'd usually eat and I try not to go over maintenance calories. This is always followed by a loss, so intentional or not, breaks work for me :)

I weigh daily, often a few times daily, if I see the scale I can't resist hopping on. I only log the first one in the morning, the rest are just curiosity, hehe :)
-
That is absolute gold and makes perfect sense to me. I'll remember that :)
-
Finally have seen a loss in the last few days, down a pound to 155. 2.5 pounds from goal. Yay! :D
-
lol!! okay, only just saw this so starting today :)
-
I'm up as well. Pretty sure it's due to exercise and TOM though. Not panicking yet! :)
-
I am about the same height as you, started at 218 pounds and had lost more than 30 of them in the first three months. I had a plan, I was determined, and it sounds like you are the same. Its totally possible to sensibly lose the weight. Feel free to add me if you want to :)
-
Yep definitely. If my muscles are aching I expect to see a temporary increase on the scales :)
-
Holding steady at 157.6 but currently in TOM bloated glory! 3.3 pounds from goal.
-
My face, across my back and my arms. Sadly still rather bottom-heavy 60 pounds in. Slowly though it is coming off from everywhere :)
-
Never done a proper push up in my life so obviously I'm in! Haha, let's do this! :D
-
I would love to be at goal at my one year anniversary of starting a new, healthier life. That's mid August. Failing that by Aussie summer would be awesome! :D
-
TOTALLY going to crunch my next carrot or apple "all angry like". I lol'd. Love it! :D
-
That's a hard one! If you're stress eating AT work prepare by having single serves of healthy snacks on hand there so you're less tempted by the vending machine etc. At home if I'm having a bit of a "down time" I try to keep busy doing things that will make me feel good, thus lifting my mood and keeping my mind off food at…

5 pounds to go over here! Love to see a group created :)
-
Hehe, I'm an Aussie too! (WA) I'm not sure what my goal should be. I arbitrarily chose 75kg when I started but got to that and wasn't happy, now I'm approaching 70kg and while I'm still a bit "flabby" I think I might be getting close to what I can happily maintain so that will likely be my goal. We'll both have lost…

I found it gets easier and easier to say no (without even feeling like I have to justify myself). Plus friends do get the message eventually :)
-
I'd say whatever you're doing now is working a treat so keep it up! :) PS: I noticed we're a very similar height (within 2cm) would you mind sharing your goal.weight?

It wasn't until I started losing fat from my stomach that I noticed I had pretty severe dark and wide stretch marks below it (partly from pregnancy I'm sure) but for the last 3-4 weeks I've been massaging Palmers cocoa butter for stretch marks into them twice a day and they have faded dramatically. The skin will always be…
