  • @hambien Ill look into whole 30 thank you! Dont worry food is just one factor. My stress has been under control for a while (sleep has never been a prob) which makes me so eager to try anything bc I just seem to be getting worse. Dont worry I'm following all doctors orders.
  • @nutmegoreo That's awesome that you found a way to keep the pain at bay. At this point I'm physically unable to work out extensively. When I can I go for walks and yoga but some days I barely have my head above water. But when I'm able I will definitely be getting more physical.
  • @serindipte No BC at all. I was on it for several years when I was younger and then I started getting sick from it so I stopped. I friend was on drop and had all kinds of terrible reactions so I'm definitely steering clear. I'm not exactly sure what is causing my pain. I thought it was stress related but its been several…
  • Would substituting for fruit help you? Its cherry and strawberry season!
  • @Ceenah80 Awesome! I have been reducing my sugar intake and cutting out gluten. Hopefully it helps!
  • @GaleHawkins im so happy for you!! That's amazing! Can't wait to see you at 110!
  • @joker19843 that sucks so bad! Ive heard great things about the keto diet but I've never looked into it. I will now. It really does make it hard to want to do anything. I work in a factory. The jobs are not physically demanding other than being on your feet for 8 hrs but I'm barely making it through the week. I have to use…
  • Yes! I am really bad about over eating when I am really hungry. It's very difficult. I've had a good day today and yesterday. You're right just acknowledging that it happened and being honest about it has really helped me. I was really embarrassed and when I talked to my friend at work and hearing such supportive things…
  • This was really positive and helpful. I don't really have the means or the time to really go to counseling. Just listening to advice on how other people have overcome their struggles is helpful. Today was a good day. No shakes, I actually felt hungry instead of having an upset stomach- but at the appropriate meal times so…
  • No. It was just such a low point. My binge eating is usually just mindless eating. Boredom eating, etc. Its why I do okay during the day and at night when I'm not at work or doing anything and the fridge is only steps away it's a big lack of self control. The other day I just really had no self control whatsoever. It was…
  • I just had to look up plantar faciitis. I've had really bad pain in my feet for a few months and this sounds like something I might have as well. I am on my feet all day at work- My fitbit says I walk about 7 miles during that time. I hope you're healing well. I couldn't imagine running with this. Good luck on your goal!
  • Thank you so much for the positive feedback!! My biggest hurdle was working through night time binge eating and forgiving myself for indulging every once in a while. I split my calories up so that I'd have the most calories for the end of the day so if I wanted an extra snack it wouldn't ruin my whole day (or make me feel…
  • I think you started out on the wrong foot. One of the great things about MFP is that it works for so many people because it's not in itself a diet plan, it is just a tool and helps connect many different people doing their own thing, allowing us all to learn from each other. Many people eat fast food several times a week…
  • I've noticed the same changes to my body as well. There's not a lot of information on the web pertaining to how regular is the right kind of regular for bowl movements. On days where I don't have a BM I don't feel any discomfort or bloating or anything either. I figure that because I am eating at a deficit to lose weight…
  • 225lbs heaviest back in 2010- 5'7. The last 25lbs I gained in one month. Everyone thought I was pregnant- not sure what caused it but it took nearly 6 months to lose 10 of that 25. Two years to get the rest off. Two years stuck at 200 and now I'm at 186 currently! Been over 5 years since I was this weight. My breaking…
  • Mine is private. I thought I would eventually change it over to open at some point but I don't think I will anymore. In the beginning when I was trying to figure out nutritional values of everything and trying different foods and healthier options- I wasn't ready for anyone to critique me or judge me. Now I've kept it…
  • My boyfriend is younger than me but it doesn't affect our relationship at all. But I've seen relationships where the older party holds it against the younger party when making decisions. If you feel like your opinions are lesser because you're younger, or ever feel like the "kid" in the relationship- those are warning…
  • It's amazing what a difference losing just 10lbs feels like. I honestly started to feel better after losing just 5lbs. It might seem daunting thinking about how far you have to go in your weight loss journey- that's how it was for me at first. It might be completely fine for you to lose that much weight in a month but…
  • It's always hard to be the odd man out- regardless of if you should or shouldn't feel weird about it. I don't measure my food but I'm the only one of my friends from work who brings my own lunch. They munch on candy bars and chips while I have my carrots, celery and peanut butter. They made comments at first but now it's…
  • I have night time binge control issues. Most people struggle for periods of time periodically with certain things. Right now I've lost my motivation to exercise but I'm able to maintain a healthy diet so I'm still losing weight. Find a balance that works for you. If you are physically starving and you can't wait until your…
  • 1200 is on the low end of the scale for daily calorie consumption. Most believe it's the minimum you need to consume to keep your body from going into starvation mode. I would suggest keeping it at 1400 for now. If you feel over the next couple weeks you aren't losing the weight as fast as you want then decrease it or add…
  • Those aren't yoga pants... those are running tights. Yoga pants actually flatter a wide variety of figures- including curvy women.
  • Sent you a friend request! I have 40 more pounds to go!
  • Are you on depression medications? Eating better will have a positive benefit on your body- whether you see results in the scale or not. Many medications have weight side effects. Depression is so hard on it's own and to add the stress of weight loss it can get trickier. The more you track and make healthier decisions the…

  • I would try to work on your stride. It's probably because your toes are doing more work than they should be and around 4 miles you may start to get tired and lose form and that's when you start to feel it elsewhere. Form is extremely important and as you get tired and weak it starts to worsen and that's usually when…
  • I would not say a thing. It will come off rude no matter how you do it. Most people are very sensitive about their weight, especially having been successful with weight loss and then started to gain the weight back. Believe me, he notices, he may just not be motivated to do anything about it or maybe he wasn't comfortable…
  • I think only a few people are not affected by their periods. I usually get really weepy and lethargic, sleep a loooot! My cramps have been getting worse as I've gotten older so the first few days I'm taking pain killers. During my red week I've noticed that my appetite is completely different. Not just in the fact that it…
  • Assuming I am on the same wavelength, yes it's okay if you arms are not straight when they are relaxed. If you try to straighten your arms, locking your elbows and they wont straighten all the way that would be a problem. Your muscles should be sore after lifting, usually a little weak too. As long as it's a dull ache and…
