The cooked weight...the actual amount that you are consuming.

I have to agree with everyone who has posted 'eat more calories'. The normal mindset of dieters is to eat way less food. This puts your body into starvation mode, slows the metabolism and makes shedding pounds almost impossible. Increase your calorie intake with good healthy real foods, eat every few hours, along with…

As for the elliptical: I'm an elliptical fanatic and have found that different styles & brands of machines position your feet slightly different, so you may feel better on one machine vs. another. I agree that running shoes are usually more comfortable.

I'm looking forward to the correct answer on this one myself... My own eating habits are this: (and have been for a long, long time, I might add)...I almost always have lots of calories left over on weekdays, and then I am over on calories on the weekends. I was going to say water retention also, due to sodium intake. And good advice, all that say never weigh-in on Monday...too depressing!!! We really don't need to start the week upset!!! I always look at Mondays as the 'beginning'!

LOL...Thank you!!!

The two I've always visualized: a pound as a pound of butter and five pounds as a bag of sugar. And the image of Oprah pulling out the wagonful of fat is stuck in my head forever, except I don't remember what that weighed lol....
