  • Add me. 49 yrs old, post menopausal and pre diabetic. Need all the support and help I can get.
  • Awesome plan!! I love IF. Congratulations.
  • Post menopausal here. What has helped me tremendously is intermittent fasting and at age 49 eating as healthy and clean as I can. My digestive health is not in tip top shape and I am trying to fix that. Definitely move more and am more conscious of my reaction to certain foods, specially ones that did not cause havoc…
  • Welcome! I too have come and gone but MFP has always been a great place for community. My experience has been great. Feel Free to add me. Would love to lend support.
  • Color of urine is a great indicator. If you workout and break a sweat, drink.
  • I am post menopausal too. Love to eat. Struggling right now but working hard to stay focused. What has worked for me is intermittent fasting, exercise and eating clean. Send me a request! Would love to have friends with some of the same challenges to work and learn together.
  • Hi. I am a SAHM of 3 but my kids are older now but I totally understand how hard it is to stay fit and be healthy with little ones. After years of neglecting myself now I am taking charge of my health one day at a time. Would love to have an accountability partner. Add me.
  • @PackerFanInGB sorry about your job. That’s sad. Glad you are here and have set some goals. I am confident you will reach them and I love the book reward. I Love books and that is a great motivator!! Congrats @MadisonMolly2017 on maintenance and lab results. I had the same results on my Labs and it feels awesome!! Keep up…
  • @nebslp thank you and jello legs sounds about right. It is a tough machine and at first keeping coordination it weird but practice makes perfect. Like you it was super embarrassing. I do 30 minutes until my body gets use to it. It’s been a while and I feel my body is not that sore so the body remember 🤣. Keep us posted on…
  • Added a 25 min walk.
  • Great walk @PackerFanInGB !!! Glad you were inspired and got it done. I do not like the machine. It does feel like an abomination 🤣🤣 but it does take to get use to it. Just love how much I sweat and helps lose fat faster
  • Bravo @balhoff !! That’s fantastic! 30 minutes elliptical today.
  • Fantastic @nebslp !! Love your attitude!! Glad you spent time with those you love. We need a bit of a recharge through this pandemic. Great job and keep up the good work. I am feeling excited about this week. I have been able to maintain my good eating habits and my mental health on point. Even saw some weight loss. Today…
  • Fantastic @MadisonMolly2017 that's perfect!. Great advice from your dr!
  • Monday Motivation: People often say, "Three months from now, you'll thank yourself" for being on track today. But guess what? TOMORROW you'll thank yourself. TONIGHT, when you go to bed, you'll thank yourself. The good feelings from being in control/being on track start almost immediately! #BeckDiet
  • Well done @IrisRoseGingersnap ! A day at a time, building up to better habits! Today not wanting to go exercise and went anyways and I feel so good afterwards. Not wanting to do something is an excuse I used before. Not anymore. I am not only helping my body but helping my mind as well.
  • 3.45mile walk 3.72 bike ride
  • Welcome back @znaoiec ! Sounds like a great habit to tackle.
  • @nebslp looks great! Personally I believe the visual effect of a chart is powerful. Visualization is a great tool. Like you I found journaling exhausting but now that I have done it through the years I love to go back and re- read old posts and see how far I’ve come. Enjoy the grand kids.
  • Love her books! Great post @OneWildAndPreciousLife .
  • I love James Clear!
  • Thanks @nebslp . We are working hard to get through this. So happy you got to spend time with them and losing pounds!! Sounds like your daughter is doing something good in terms of keeping cravings in check. Eating hours before bedtime has worked wonders for me. Most high fat items are processed and not the right fat our…
  • Welcome both @OneWildAndPreciousLife and @IrisRoseGingersnap . You came to the right place. This is a fantastic group to get support and of course, learn healthy habits. Great posts!! Good luck and keep us posted. @MadisonMolly2017 that is the best attitude. These are tough times and gratitude has been a life saver for me…
  • Thanks @77tes Yesterday I walked 3 miles and biked 6 miles
  • @nebslp thank you. A day at a time. This has been so hard. Glad you had a great time. ❤️❤️
  • Sorry I have been out of here. My oldest daughter has been dealing with emotional issues so it has been tough. Read all your posts. Kudos for making it work. Glad everyone is well under these circumstances.
  • I will continue to work on my health. My lab work came back and I am still a pre diabetic but my numbers are getting better. Fasting and keeping my carbs low has helped a lot. Concentrate on my mental health as I struggle to help my emotional daughters. Stay strong friends.
  • Bike ride this week. 26 minutes
  • Good luck @jlperiard . That’s a big step in the right direction. Thanks for sharing as well. Important to end the shame and stigma.
  • @jlperiard @77tes @nebslp @texasgardnr what a joy to read all your posts. Thank you for sharing. It is very inspiring! June 10-Photo of something that brings you joy. I constantly do that on my phone, taking pics of my walks of birds, trees, even sunshine. I am not able to share now because I am not on my phone right now.…
