Also call your local walmart. Ours marks many many meats down around 6am on sunday morning but you must go early to catch them.
-
I recommend soup recipes. I almost always times then by 3 or 4 and our family eats delicious hearty meal for atleast 2 dinners and usually a lunch on a $10-20 pot.
-
Also if you buy frozen it may have carbs or flavoring added. If its just raw meat with no additives then you are correct on zero carbs
-
Why this route? I recommend keto with logging your food. Points are not necessary but to maintain your loss you must learn caloric values of all the foods you eat and how they effect your body.
-
I love keto/low carb. I feel its very sustainable. I recommend always logging your food
-
I would suggest waiting a few weeks before you give in to any cravings and then choose a good sugar free low carb option.

Keto may be the perfect way of eating for you....or it may not. Do your research and then bring it to your doctor. They will let you know if you can safely try it for your body. (Youtube is a great source to see other diabetics who have done a low carb lifestyle.)

It sounds like talking to your doctor is your best advice. Remember others may mean well but encouraging you to do the opposite of your doctor isnt good advice

Large chicken breast dipped in an approved sauce(i like mayo personally),cheese, coffee with heavy cream,I have also been making tons of keto casseroles...each one ive tried has been so filling.(over filling ). I recommend the no cauliflower pizza casserole and the broccoli and chicken casserole.

I love keto so far. Im on week 8. I dont find it challenging. Well I take that back. I have these mini "stalls" and they are frustrating. This week has been great though with loss. I also do lc currently with it because I have a ways to go to my goal and im off work for summer.
-
Also you can do keto a few different ways. Some do more protein...some do more fat... Just depends what your body does/likes. I do lc with keto and it really helps me..some people dont have to be as restrictive.
-
I personally love keto. You can do it a few different ways and since you have medical conditions just set your carbs higher than average keto. I lost my first 60lbs tracking and keeping below 80 net carbs.. Maintained the loss a couple years and now doing keto....... Ultimately it depends how large you are. Some people…

Ide like to join. I started keto in may. Im on my 8th week now and down 32lbs so far. Feel free to add me

I find since being on keto that some days I feel weak. It always passes within a day or two. Sometimes I think we expect to feel amazing but when your body is changing you cant expect to feel perfect every day.
-
Week 8 starts for me tomorrow. Down 30lbs. Feel free to add me as well

Youtube is a great peer source without the judgement. I follow about 10 different people I could relate to.(search keto success or keto before and after) They all do it a little differently and with that Ive help shaped what is currently working for me and keto.
-
Feel free to add me as well. I'm on the 100+lbs to lose as well. I lost and maintained 60lb over the last couple years but now have hit it hard again and not stopping til Im healthy and where I want to be. Ive lost 30lbs additional since starting keto in May. (I turn 31 in dec. I will make my 30s and on my healthiest)

I can relate. Im back on mfp as well. I was up and down from one medical thing to the next. 2015 to this year I maintained a 60lb loss. Nowhere near enough from how big I became. Jump to now Ive been on keto/counting calories strictly since mothers day and down 17 more lbs. I really feel like I got this now and I will make…

-
you look awesome! what great success.. charts are awful, they don't necessarily mean healthy range at all... a good tool for some but can also be a downfall for many slim ladies who believe them
-
I always have good numbers the first week then it steadily creeps down :)
-
I always drink atleast 80oz plus coffee and the occasional sprite zero... I used to do 128oz-140oz and im working to get back there but with winter its just not happening right now... I have a weak bladder since my csection 7 years ago and i urinate atleast every 20min... sometimes more often :P

My thoughts on this are pretty simple... everyone is human and should be treated that way. I dont care how big or small someone is... and although I love and care for many people their health isnt much of my business but their own.. the healthiest people have health issues as well as those who are not. In easier terms..…
