Wow, you seriously look about 30 years younger in the second pic. Way to go!
-
made it down to 181.5 this week!

OMG, I was on the 3-day diet, too! I totally forgot about that one. The worst part of that one for me, though, was that I didn't like the oats... So all I ate was the plain tuna and the dryyyyyyy toast. No wonder that diet failed. LOL!

My mom started putting me on all kinds of diets when I was probably about 8-9 years old. I remember the cabbage soup diet. Yuck. The worst, however, has to be South Beach. No carbs for 2 weeks???? OMG, it was awful, and I only made it about one week. Also, Dr. Phil's weight loss program was pretty yuck, too, in terms of…

I'm 37 and have a 12-year-old daughter and soon-to-be 2-year-old son. Feel free to add me! I had to giggle a little, though, when I saw your avitar photo. I don't know HOW MANY pictures I have just like yours where I use the kiddos to "eclipse" me. LOL!

It's Monday. Is there a new thread somewhere? I can't find it. :(

Nothing too exciting here. It's leftover roasted chicken (no skin), cabbage, carrots, and onions.

Weighing in... I am down 1.5 pounds (from 185 to 183.5). Fell short of my mini goal (180.5), but hopefully I can do that within the next week or two.
-
Amazing! ESPECIALLY after five kids! WOW! My starting highest weights were around yours (202 at my heaviest and 228 2 years ago when I had my second child). I was wondering how tall you are... Just trying to envision myself at 130. ;) I'm a hair under 5 foot 5.
-
Sigh... Didn't go up this week, but I didn't go down, either. I'm still at 185.
-
I had oatmeal with brown sugar and a little bit of dried fruit mixed in. I make mine with water (For some reason, I hate the taste of it with milk.). Keeps me hunger-free for at least 3 hours.

Oatmeal! Something that can be a hot meal, warmed up in the microwave, and doesn't need to go into your fridge before it's cooked. I buy the big canisters, brown sugar, some dried fruit, and non-dairy powdered creamer and make my own packets in little containers or ziplocks. I make it with water. Tastes so good!

Maybe get a bag of coffee to make at home...? That way, you can add whatever you're comfortable with to it and are in control of the calorie count. DH got a similar gift card, and I ended up just getting a bag of espresso. I now make my own hot mochas at home with about 97 calories.

Awesome, AWESOME job!!!

Geez, you should really call those people on the carpet for the cruel things they say to you. A "Wow, that was very hurtful and disrespectful. Do you think that was appropriate" might suffice. I know it sounds all unicorny, but these people lack common sense, manners and tact. You should not surround yourself with people…

I'm also wondering if you specifically told your doc that you were only losing 2 or less pounds a week.... That seems like a perfectly reasonable rate of weight loss to me...
-
I can't find my other post, but I am checking in at 185. :)
-
Thanks. I actually did it while watching a new show about a flash mob at a surprise proposal/wedding ("Mobbed"), so I was stepping, lifting weights, AND crying at the same time. LOL!

QUOTE: Do you have some suggestions of bread that only has 35 cals? I try to read labels when at the store but its sometimes hard when shopping with two kids. Next time hubby keeps the kids while I shop! I'm in Connecticut, too, but the absolute opposide corner. LOL! For bread, see if your store carries Country Kitchen…

Did you mean to list your eggbeaters twice at breakfast? It's listed at half of a cup and then later on it's listed at .63 of a cup....

QUOTE: How do you not get Crab Ragoon-- I love that stuff!! I love crab rangoons, too.... But they don't love us back obviously. LOL! I did, though, find something that SORT Of tastes like rangoon -- at least enough to stop my cravings. LOL! I take two pieces of light Italian bread, spread about 1 tablespoon of low-fat…

I'm right there with ya! I feel like I am CONSTANTLY thinking about food, what I'll eat next, will it "fit" with my log, things I should buy.... Great job on the 107 pounds!!!

QUOTE: I should have known when I woke up and my daughter had dropped such a huge bomb that I had to cute her onesie off so that it didn't get in her hair.. LMBO!!!! Great job, OP! 3 miles is quite the accomplishment, especially without even stopping!

I can definitely see the difference! Congrats!
-
Well, even if you lose 30 pounds in that time, that's 30 hard-earned pounds!!! Any weight you lose will drastically change your appearance, self-esteem and HEALTH. You can't fail unless you try, hon! So who cares if you don't meet your goal in exactly 5 months? If you fall short, you just keep going. Eventually, you'll get…

Well, there are far worse things you can eat than baked french fries, low-fat gravy and low-fat cheese.... ;) (I'd say fat-free cheese but that is, indeed, gross.)
-
Ohhh.... :( I had poutine once, but I was 140 pounds at the time (so almost 50 pounds lighter) and in high school. Poutine would stick right to my thighs if I dared try it now. I'm not thinking low-fat poutine would taste very good. Or would it....???? ETA: Poutine is actually really, really good. It's one of those "It's…

Congrats!!!! I'm *THISCLOSE* to joining you in the "overweight" category. I am 30.62 BMI. Funny that I HOPE to be overweight after this weekend. LOL!
-
I could only wish to lose in that area. Boobs, in my DD opinion, are highly overrated.

Great job!! On a similar note, I went from wearing a size 16 with the zipper flap sticking out because they are too tight to wearing a size 14 with the zipper flap sticking out because they are too tight. LOL!
