Your first in the green shirt, because you're a pretty girl and for some reason the green emphasizes that?

I should note that I also don't do this. I just work what I want in to my calories for that day, or have an overage for one day (maybe once a month) when I decide to have a treat. Most days I 'net' something like 100-400 calories (I do the TDEE method and work out often), and I don't go out of my way to make up exercise…

I never feel guilty about food. I make good choices 95% of the time time, and even when I make unhealthy choices, I don't go over my calories. So, have some takeout! I echo the sentiment about developing a healthy outlook on food. I don't want to have a complex with it; that's how I got fat to begin with. :drinker:

I lost 50lbs exactly from January 1st to July 1st this year. However, I started off much larger (215lbs and a size 18), and now am starting to slow to 1.5lbs per week, and I'm sure by my goal it'll be 1lbs per week or less. It'd be possible and maybe even healthy if you were obese, but you're basically the same size as I…

GNC and a lot of independent health/nutrition/body building shops. I popped in to the nutrition place across from the gym and boom! Quest bars. I like cookies and cream as well. I've tried apple pie (yummy!), cinnamon roll (not as good as everyone told me), cookie dough (okay, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it), and…

I've basically lost a big-*kitten* air conditioner. I think I'm okay with this. :drinker:

RAVENCLAW PLEASE. OMG. Also, the art that's in the OP, I have that shirt. Edit: second choice Slytherin. Third Gryffindor. Last Hufflepuff. But *really* wanting Ravenclaw. I used to roleplay Ravenclaw prefects when I was a teenager who was somehow even more of a loser than my adult self.

Judging by the diaries of some of my larger friends, I have friends who are women over 300lbs and they're losing weight steadily at like 2200 calories a day.

I go 3x a week! I used to go 4x a week, but one class was dropped for summer. I went to my first one 3 months ago and I am OBSESSED. I've lost another 20lbs since starting Zumba (helped bump me off a plateau). It's legitimately my favorite hour of the day! <3 Edit: The best thing about Zumba is you show up alone, and it…

This was farther back in the thread, but that reminded me. Last year, I was stuck listening to this customer, an older man who I can NOT stand (not because he's an old man, I have grand old chats with a lot of older people at work. Just this guy is awful). I kept trying to look busy so he'd leave. I don't know what led to…

I just run MapMyWalk in tandem with the c25k app.

I got a ring (a normal one, not an engagement or anything) for Christmas from my boyfriend. It was the first ring I've ever owned. It was really, really tight on me. My mother said it looked to be a size 9 (my mother-in-law says it's more like a 6) and that she was amazed I could barely wear it, because a few years ago she…

Only quoting myself because no one has said a thing. Part of me hopes it's because I was accurate in my assessment, part of me worries it's because I'm still a 20 but I'm blind to it in my exuberance of my loss.

You're a mystery in that pic! So an 8 because I really don't know :)

27? v EXTREMELY close, good job! :)

I lost 50lbs in my first six months. I started at 1200 and never ate back exercise calorie either (as I didn't exercise much). I'm now extremely active and eat 1450 a day and don't eat back those calories. I'm still losing at about 1.92lbs per week (some weeks I'll lose nothing. Other weeks 3lbs will drop off. I'm just…

I want your life. One of my biggest goals in life is actually to own a goat. Pygmy goats are one of my favorite animals.

I'm definitely #18, and it's a huge improvement. Lots of people would still call me fat by their standards. I now refer to myself as chubby, so, I don't even mind the label. I'd like to be 11 :) Or even 15! Pudgy ain't so bad :) Pic on the left was about a month ago, pic on the right was 2 weeks ago, pic in the middle was…

I'm only 25, but where I live, people usually have 2 and even 3 kids by this time. So, I'm right there with you haha. Instead, I'm in a very long-term relationship (5 and a half years and counting), and we have 4 cats. Edit because I should say that *IF* we decide to have children to appease his parents (mine have my 21…

28? Edit: unless your above post meant your age is 25 - I wasn't sure if you were giving yourself away or guessing for the above poster lol v --- how kind!

Are we twins (except you look slimmer)? I started Jan. 1st at 215lbs and as of July 1st (6 months!) had lost 50lbs (I've now lost another 4lbs, I weigh about 161 now haha). Edit because I need to know how tall you are, too. I'm 5'4" and you look AMAZING (a lot more than me!).

I get a lot of people complimenting my hair color. My hair has been every color of the rainbow (including hot pink!), plus every shade of blonde or red in existence. In its current form (6 months now), I've gotten more compliments than I'd ever imagined, even from straight men. Bizarre, but I guess it goes with my skin?…

These are not books. These are my own offerings, from toddlerhood onwards, that I was convinced were real words till I was a teen and informed otherwise (wish I was joking): heaterator (central heating vent, like a radiator but a vent) and grocerying (the act of purchasing groceries)

I am so horrified by this. Whatever difference my boyfriend and I have, he made it clear that he loved me at 150lbs, 180lbs, 215lbs, now at 163 and ever-dropping. I'm glad he's your ex! Edit: Yup, I have this exchange practically verbatim at least once a week!

I work somewhere with regular customers, so they've watched me shed a LOT of weight in the last 6 months, and many comment on it. Which is nice. Except when I get, "What's your secret?" and "What are you taking?" .... My secret is I count every calorie and work my *kitten* off? Like every other human that loses weight…

You're likely going to get much better answers from people that are alllll about the strength training, but coming from another beginner (as in, today was the end of my first week doing strength training (3 days a week, so today was the 4th time haha)), I had a trainer at my gym (the YMCA, where you get a couple of free…

I recently started with Simply bars when they appeared at my grocery store (for $2.29 each, not awful). Most peoples' only compaint is they aren't 'sweet enough'. I eat them for the protein and fiber, not the taste so it doesn't bother me.

You're a torso! Anyway, 33? V my guesser is very close, just a little under :)
