I've lost over 80lbs. I eat oodles of meat.

I was spilling out of a triple-D. Now I'm a B. But now I'm healthy and strong and my legs and butt are tight and amazing. Push-up bras exist for a reason. The weight loss and fitness are totally worth my deflated chest!

Wait, I'm a pot and I'm out of shape? I *was* out of shape, because I used to make excuses and blame my depression and anxiety for my being super fat. Really, it was my own fault I was super fat. So I stopped being fat, and started being awesome. EDITED TO ADD: Not saying people can't be fat AND awesome! I just couldn't.…

Sorry to necro this thread, but it seems I've left people in the lurch with my wine-in-cans comment! The brand is called Billyrock Station, I believe it is Australian. I live in Canada (East Coast), and we get 8oz/250ml cans at the liquor store! I always get the shiraz! And no confusing with a recyclable container, it…

I have wine near nightly, and I buy the little cans of it - portion control, right there. If I have a bottle, I'll tend to drink the whole thing too. It's not even because it's alcohol, I just like the taste.

From today, when I was cleaning out my closet:

Yo bum is looking fantastic there, lady! Mine is the fact that there is something there, in my arms, when I flex now (hence the profile pic). I'm obsessed with my baby bicep poking through!

Same. Really. Can't tear my eyes away.

I'm thirding the Pure Protein shakes in the bottle-shaped can. They're a nice, normal consistency, not like protein sludge that a lot of shakes are. I haven't found a powder I really like yet (although the Arnold Series Iron Whey stuff in vanilla that the local nutrition place puts in their smoothies seems to blend well!).…

For me, it was perfect. I couldn't work out much because I couldn't breathe. I quit in March (I was down about 20lbs at that point), and although I was dreading the weight gain everyone has warned about for years, I figured I would have to do it anyway, weight be damned. For my health. I was on the patch for 1 week, didn't…

24.9 is what I'm aiming for right now. 6ish lbs away. Will be the first time I was a 'healthy' weight, going by BMI (which I honestly don't put too much stock in - because when I was still technically 'obese' back at 175lbs, I still felt amazing and was healthy, especially compared to when I was actually obese at 215lbs),…

I'm 5'4" started at 215lbs and was a size 18. I had lost 35lbs, was a size 14, before anyone notice. Now as a 152lbs chick careening towards a size 7/8 (currently a solid 9/10, and thrilled!), I get comments every single day. I work at a retail job that has regular customers (video rental) and get comments every shift!…

I'm 152.5lbs at 5'4" and wearing (in places that aren't too vanity-sized, I could probably manage an 8 at Old Navy lol!) a 9/10.

Drama club. As in theatre, not petty drama haha

I didn't start anywhere near 300 but I read this whole thread and I'm applauding you all. I get really cranky about surgery, not sure why (barring thyroid issues, medication issues, illness and disability), and I've had people argue with me that after a certain weight you CAN'T lose without the sleeve or lapband or bypass…

Sydney, Nova Scotia! See lots of Nova Scotians, but you all seem to be from the mainland! Am I the only Caper? (I know at least 2-3 more who I'm friends with, but in this thread, am I alone!?)

This. This is why I quit, I'd lost the first 17-18lbs without exercise because I was obese, but I felt the need to work out to be healthy and not just lighter - which led to me realizing just how terrible my lungs really were. I quit early March, 2014. It's now August, and I've lost a heap more weight since then. Didn't…

Quit in March. Have lost 45ish more pounds since then.

Another 'congrats on the weight loss!' - my goal is 140 and I'm a 5'4" female! And bulk. Bulk loads.

I started out with my gym membership just to go swimming and take Zumba. The first time I walked up to the 'conditioning center', a/k/a the part of the gym that makes it a gym, for a session with a trainer, I took one look at all the people, all the equipment, took a panic attack and left. I didn't get back up there for…

^^ This is a sentiment and I can echo.

The one with you and the lady :) 'Cause you probably love each other. :flowerforyou:

I remember a thread about logging grocery shopping, and people flipping **** because they were all, "Well you obviously went grocery shopping before and still got fat, so what does it matter hurr durr?" I didn't grocery shop before starting MFP in January, so it's legitimately something relatively new on my plate. Anyway, I…

When I was in elementary school, the canteen sold recess snacks. Small bags of chips and little containers of frozen yogurt were among the items. I learned that Lays ketchup chips dipped in chocolate frozen yogurt was a delicioius combination. Mind you, it's been 15 years since I've had it, so I'm assuming my tastebuds…

People who pull out 'you don't have kids, do you?' any time someone complains about someone not knowing that some places aren't appropriate for small children :flowerforyou:

double post.

The sheer number of people who think 'lose' is spelled 'loose'. To make it more palatable and less cringe-worthy, I imagine they're saying they're going to 'loose' the weight - set it free.
-
All of this. The first part being obvious to most people, but the second part being something that we've ALL said, and then all not bothered with. I gained an additional 30lbs while I kept saying, "I'll get back on track Monday".

I wear close-fitting tank-top type workout clothes to the gym often, especially to Zumba. Sometimes a looser fitting tank. I really want to wear a tshirt, and I have *one* that is thin enough/breathable enough to wear, but any others, I'm a melted puddle of goo. Really uncomfortable. I personally wear my tight workout tank…

Bump for bookmarking justice. And I'm kind of surprised the 'Wellness Warrior' wasn't on the list, but then that gives me hope that maybe she isn't reaching so many people.
