  • Great idea! I have to try it now!
  • First and foremost congrats on saying bye to 100lbs! Secondly isn't it crazy how trying times.can make us stronger and realize we can do things if we put our mind body and soul into it? Life is precious and after losing so many loved ones its made me stronger and take care of this body I given. Perfection doesn't exist..…
  • I'm somewhere between an adult woman and the complete oxford english dictionary! holy wow! lol
  • Been there done that. The first 26 years of my life I was either overweight or obese. Wasn't the greatest growing up hearing people tell you you're pretty... but.... I started a size 28 Women's at around 345 lbs . at 5'9" and now I'm a size 14/16 in misses and right around 200lbs. Still have about 2oish pounds to go but I…
  • I used to say these: antenna = nintenna wood pecker = hay pecker My mom used to say she was "choking the washcloth" instead of "ringing it out" lol- also she called "goosebumps" "goosepimples" My dad used to say "hopti-plopter" for "helicopter" Why I know what my parents used to say as kids is beyond me- I improvise with…
  • Luckily nothing my family has really said to me left a nasty impression- but I do remember comments about my weight growing up and blah blah blah. They don't tell us anything we don't already know... but some people just feel the need to knock others down, when they should be supporting each other. I've had nasty comments…
  • You've done a great job! Congrats! I hope you're enjoying this healthy lifestyle change as much as I am! You look fab!
  • Exercise makes cramps, bloating, etc go away for me. Same with sex. It doesn't happen for everyone- but I know it also helps boost my crappy moods when Aunt Flow & Uncle Red are in town. Get the blood pumping and you should start to feel better! Work out for 10 minutes and I'm sure you'll want to finish your workouts! :)
  • They must be jealous that she can pull off the skinny leopard print jeans- I saw some at target and wanted them! lol
  • I'm 27 and wear some juniors styles. I'm a student and broke- I buy what fits me appropriately, fits my budget and is my style. I've always tended to lean to brighter loud patterns and styles- but when i was 345lbs I couldn't find any clothes that fit my personality. Now that I'm almost to my goal weight and look decent in…
  • I was thinking the exact same thing! I understand different body frames- I'm 5'9.5" and currently 201lbs. I've been obese my entire adult life, and most of my childhood- so really no clue what size/ weight I will be when I'm happy with where I'm at. I definitely have a larger frame and it's kind of scary that some girls at…
  • I've tested this theory several times. You have to repeat basically the exact amount of exercise/ cals, etc everyday for that 5 weeks or you won't be on target. If you do you'll be amazed- I have had several occasions where it was dead on- but only when I was staying motivated day after day, week after week!
  • As you go to college, and then a career you're going to realize a lot of so-called friends aren't really your friends. It happens. For a "friend" to say u used diet pills, etc seems like a jealousy thing- cut them out of your life and make friends with people who lift you up and support your goals... that's what friends…
  • Thanks for all the love! I hope you all know you can do anything you put your mind and heart into! :)
  • Yep, I've been logging my food. exercise daily since the beginning of January- I don't necessarily eat my exercise calories though, just low calorie/ low sodium and lots of water and exercise! :)
  • First and foremost I want to tell you how sorry I am that you lost your twins, but I'm so proud of you for wanting to continue your healthy journey for them, that's awesome! Congrats on your weight loss, keep up the great work! :)
  • I tended to cut out whatever I can't seem to control myself with. Eventually I've learned portion control, but there are certain foods I just can't bring into the house... depriving yourself is a sure fire way to binge- so if you live with someone maybe you should let them ration out portion sizes so you can still get the…
  • http://www.hungry-girl.com/newsletters/raw/925 I use Truvia, instead of Splenda- everyone loved them!
  • Yep! Same green shirt! :) Wore the same size/brand pants but i put on the light pair instead of the dark pair on accident :)
  • I think it's awesome, and definitely let's me know I will be able to try surfing, even if I haven't gotten to my goal yet! :) Surfing is on my bucket list- and this guy proves any size can do it! :)
  • If your man doesn't understand you can't do it, tell him to go pick up 130lbs worth of weights and see if he can do his normal speed.. lol- Hey I know you don't want him knowing your weight (I didn't mention mine to my fiance until he asked where I started), but you weigh significantly more than he does, so he can't expect…
  • I'm disabled, but different disabilities will limit the type of exercises that will be less painful and unless we know what kind of disability you have we can't really help much unfortunately. With mine I can usually push through the pain, but I have days where I cant do any exercise whatsoever, where as say a person with…
  • Yummy! Thanks for sharing! :):)
  • Already looking way slimmer and younger! WTG! Keep up all your hard work, it's paying off! :)
  • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_1oREvzZuM Here's a link to a youtube video about a woman who's used MSM soap since she was in college, simply because she was allergic to other soaps. There's tons of reviews on youtube though, just search for it if you're interested. I know Whole Foods doesnt have the soap, but they have…
  • The soap IS helping firm my skin. I know what my skin was feeling like before and since I started using the MSM soap/ cream there has been drastic changes. Like I said, it's not a miracle worker, but helps along with a healthy diet and exercise. Try it before you bash it. Yes age and genetics are all a factor- but the soap…
  • The biggest thing I've researched is to not lose too fast. We've all seen biggest loser and weight loss surgery patients who have tons of extra skin, usually because their skin has no time to catch up. I've researched a lot since I have well over 100lbs to lose as well and when the weight first started coming off it…
