Congrats! I'm doing a R&R half in October (my first half). Good to know about the fuel stations! Don't they have music? I feel like wearing my own ipod would defeat the purpose.

From every training plan I've looked at (from 10 weeks to 16 weeks, and it seems like we both have about 20 weeks) 7 miles should be the long run about 6 weeks before the event, so mid-late August is a good goal to set for that distance :) ETA: Great job on the 5K!

If you're within your calories, that's all that matters. I love black olives, I eat them at least once a week as a snack :) They're super low-calorie and taaaasty

I do this almost every day! It helps me turn down unplanned treats because I've already mapped my calories out for the day. So when a coworker asks if I want to grab a cookie in the kitchen, it's much easier for me to realize I can't fit it in rather than saying yes and trying not to consume many calories later on in the…

Because you can do HIIT with anything. HIIT on a treadmill will be different than hill sprints, elliptical, strength training, etc. There isn't one common umbrella exercise for it...

Hahah ^ this! Monday is my weigh in day, too. I don't like seeing my weight jump up 3lbs overnight, so the once weekly weigh in tends to prevent that.
