I allow myself 1 small treat per week on Sundays and sometimes i will take a single bite of my kid's ice cream or what ever they are having. But sugar used to be my downfall and I don't want to trigger it again. Eating something sugary every day seem to me like standing on top of a slippery slope and I have worked too hard…

I have been doing IF for a few months now.Eating breakfast at 11am or later and do not eat after 10pm most days. I find that the minute I start eating in the day, I feel hungry every 3-4 hours. So by starting later I normally am able to eat 1 less meal and/or snack, which keep my calories and carbs down. I am used to this…

I was allowed to have wine from 3 months out. I am 16 months out and tolerate small amounts of alcohol well. I always count and add their calories to stay within my daily calorie limit. I usually have 1oz of brandy or vodka at a time. Both have no Carbs and little calories. I have the occasional wine

" I was buying clothes that were too big and were covering me up. My bestie said "Stop hiding!"-- and she was right. It can be scary and intimidating at first, but it is also very liberating." - Well said, exactly my experience  When I was big, 320lbs, I had to wear whatever fitted, now I can start choosing from a…

Ditto. I still have a hard time sometimes, after 1 year post op, to not empty my small portion even when I notice I'm satisfied. It's like that "kind of full feeling" gives me comfort! I hardly ever over eat, but I like feeling kind of full.. I find myself thinking I need to eat enough in order to feel fuller for longer,…

I must say everyone looks so great. Well done! It's so wonderful to see so many friends going through the same ups and downs to reach our goals. It's great to know we are not alone, isn't it! Big Hug to you all.

Well done! Great feeling isn't it! I've run out of old clothes that fit before. I haven't been this "small" size as an adult. So last week I bought a whole new wardrobe. it was so much fun trying on different styles and fitting into clothes I never imagined. This is our time! :D

I must just add also, that I don't get these days very often.. Lol. I have many other days where all I can think of is food and then on other days I don't feel much restriction and is surprised by the amount of food I can eat.. It's like my tummy has a mind of its own or maybe "mood swings" Lol
