I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW IN THIS ZONE I AM!!!! I can't get out of my food funk!

AMAZING!!
-
I do my strength training with active rests - i.e., burpees, jumping jacks, etc., to keep my heart rate pumping while I'm lifting. I always save my cardio for after, since I feel like, if I do the cardio first, I don't put as much effort into the weights.

I log in and log all of my food daily - feel free to add me :)

Seeing results was pretty much all I needed!

Here is me recently with a past photo comparison: http://i679.photobucket.com/albums/vv157/awilliams87/165909_10151069025030709_1210646373_n_zpsa5f0165c.jpg I forget how to get images to work

I said above that I have been stuck at the same weight for about 6 months (probably more)...a lot of life events and a lot less worrying about my health. I'm back on track now and I'm ready to get this last 30 off!
-
I can only suggest changing your routine...your body gets used to things after about 6 weeks I think, so changing it up really helps show your body that what you're doing isn't what it takes to "maintain." I also used to up my calories from 1200 to 1500 for a month and then back down.

Haha, yeah, my version of "recovery week" is a WORLD different from Shaun T's, lol!! You'll love the results!

First of all, thank you all for the awesome comments :) I always forget to check my topics to see if there was any follow up! Munizs, I'm 5'5" and, at my heaviest, I was between 250-270 lbs. The first photo, I was about 230 lbs. Quite a journey! As an update for everyone, I have spent the last 6 months at the same weight.…

Bump :(

Thanks. I don't eat cheese very often, so the condiments are where I lack. Usually I try to keep them within my macros for the day...I've stopped using ranch and caesar dressing :frown: Carbs are where I have an issue. I eat a sandwich for lunch, and if it's not a sandwich, it's pasta, and if it's a salad, I'll want…

My trainer once told me..."if you aren't hungry enough to eat fruit or veggies...you aren't hungry." That's a good way to look at consuming the junk.
-
Also, you only eat three meals per day on average. Split your calories up between 5-6 meals...this makes a considerable difference in metabolism and energy, not to mention, you'll feel less hungry if you eat more often.
-
You need to switch it up. Walking 2-4 miles 3-4 times a week has become your "routine." Your body thinks that this is what you will be doing to maintain. Just as you clean daily for two hours or so, this is daily routine. For example, I walk to work both ways M-F (5 miles total per day)...I don't count this as exercise…

I also throw a kiwifruit in there...tastes great!
-
1 cup frozen berries (i like raspberries), 1 banana, 1/2 scoop protein powder, ice, and water. I find that the milk-based smoothies are too rich for me.
-
Ranch dressing. You can put ranch on ANYTHING.

This is very true...I live on a mountain in the city which has MULTIPLE hills on said mountain...wish I could time it to when I want them, but you just can't ever figure it out! I prefer outdoors vs. treadmill, as I'm EXTREMELY bored on the treadmill (unless there's a show on that I like, and there's a TV near). I don't…

I take breast tenderloins and marinate them in some of Lawry's Herb and Garlic for 30 minutes, and then wrap each individual tenderloin in foil, and bake them in the oven for about 15 minutes...the most tender, tasty chicken I've ever had! Line the shiny part of the foil with your favorite olive oil (I use garlic flavored)…

I walked/jogged/now run and I have used the 30 Day Shred and Insanity. I'm 73lbs down with 20 more to go.
-
I've gained on Insanity but have lost a lot of inches, as well as toned my whole body, and have revealed my first two abs.
-
I do mine once a month - every two weeks if I feel like I need a confidence boost!
-
After a certain point of weight loss, mostly my 70th lb, I stopped losing weight and it changed over to inches, with weight gain. But, at that point, I also started 30 Day Shred and Insanity. So I know I'm adding muscle mass. Not to mention, I've upped my protein intake.

I quit maybe twice. I think it was the doctor telling me that I'm going to die if I don't lose weight and quit smoking (well, not die IMMEDIATELY, but soon enough!). Diabetes runs on both sides of my family, as well as heart disease. So, I lost the first 70, quit smoking, and now I'm so close to my goal that I can't quit.…

Thanks again everyone!
-
Thank you!

I lost weight first. I started by taking brisks walks until I got down under 200 (I started at 240-250ish). After that, jogging in intervals. Then long distance running. Then 30 Day Shred. Now Insanity. Long road, lol. I haven't lost any weight in the last 9 days from Insanity, but you can tell that something is happening.
-
Thanks! I'm so happy I could inspire you, as well as everyone else commenting. I didn't expect much of a response, lol. It's hard to keep going when you're not seeing results immediately...and honestly, I didn't know anything had changed from a week ago, until I decided to take a photo. It's such a long road to healthy,…

I actually started in February, 2011. I didn't really take any photos until April and May. The first 30 lbs came off relatively easily, lol.
