I entered a "summer body challenge" at my gym and whoever loses the most body fat in 6 weeks get $1000! So trying to reduce that number as much as I can in the next 35 days is my goal :)

I'm a pharmacist. Walking to/from work plus putzing around the pharmacy for 12 hours usually gets me to around 9k steps. Plus if I get some downtime (which isn't often), I'll hide behind the door and do squats B)

I'm at 1420 with an open diary. 26 y/o female. 167ish trying to get down to 154ish :) I have a tendency to eat a bit less on days I work (12 hour shifts as a pharmacist), but do so to leave wiggle room for the weekends (I love beer). So it may look like I'm all over the place but I try to be pretty accurate with my logging!

I'll echo the rest of the posts in that I think the Charge 2 is awesome. I got it on sale for $129 and it was worth every penny!

Looking great! Awesome progress!

I have the Fitbit Charge2 and I'm obsessed with it. It has a lot of options as far as recording workouts which I appreciate, and will vibrate and remind you to walk 250 steps every hour during the day. It also has the option to change the band for a more "fashion friendly" appearance, though I haven't used this feature.…

Hi! I like friends. CW: 173 GW: 155 5'6 Maybe someone has similar stats B)

Hi :)

I've had mine for a little over a month now and I love it. There are some accuracy issues (as would be the case with many activity trackers) but nothing that takes away from the overall benefit of using it. For example, one day it told me I climbed 4000 flights of stairs! I really enjoy seeing my heart rate trend over the…

I got mine about a week before Christmas. The step count seems fairly accurate in comparison to the Fitbit One that I had before this. I've noticed that my stairs count is off sometimes, especially after driving, but that's my only real complaint! I just sync it to MFP and use the exercise tracking option when I'm doing…

Week 1, Day 2 of Beta. Speed 2.0 is a completely different format from the other workouts thus far and I actually kinda like it! Five weeks left of T25, and 6 weeks until I go on a cruise. Funny how that works out:happy:

I did the Dirty Girl run in Chicago a few summers ago. My advice would be to use that as a motivator to keep training but definitely don't stress out! The environment of the Dirty Girl run is NOT competitive or intimidating at all. You're not timed and there is no judgement if you need to skip out on an obstacle. When I…

Down 2 inches in the waist, and about a .5-1 inch everywhere else! In the past I've been obsessed with the scale so I haven't focused on that as much, but it's definitely making a difference!

Hi! I did Week 4 Day 1 today, but I just found this group and I want more T25 friends! None of my current MFP friends really know the pain when I complain about "double day fridays" Anyone else nearing the end of alpha?
-
I'm in the fourth week of Alpha. If you friend me and wait about 6 more weeks, then I can share some result pictures :P It's been great so far though. Down 2 inches off my waist and an inch off of each arm which I definitely wasn't expecting! I like friends, so feel free to add me, anyone! :D

I got mine in the "sewing and crafts" section of Walmart. I think I've even seen them in a similar location in a grocery store!

The side effect you're referring to is often seen in ACE-Inhibitors, which is most of the meds that end in "-pril" (lisinopril, enalapril, etc) In that case the doctor would typically switch to an ARB. (-sartan's) Referring to the original poster's question - side effects of antihypertensives vary by class but are…

I've used an app in the past called mealboard where you can like import or input recipes and it will auto-generate a shopping list for you, and I think it can sync to specific items from different grocery stores, as well as keep track of what you have at home. I didn't get much into it as I also just cook for myself but…

I really enjoy T25! I too am quite busy with school and two jobs, but I've managed to start forcing myself out of bed an extra 30 minutes early to get my workout in and have the rest of the day to focus on everything else. It's definitely less "jumpy" than insanity and has modified versions of all the exercises that you…

I'm 23!

Congratulations on the NSV and the positive attitude :)

Being close minded, rather that be toward the choices, beliefs, appearance, etc of others or just overall being ignorant. Specifically homophobia or racism. Deal breaker IMO.

Current second year pharmacy student with two jobs as well as independent research projects. I'd love to give and receive support! :)

I put my scale away in the closet for a month and took measurements and pictures. I've been doing great with my workouts and diet and I decided that I can do without the obsession over my "number" for a few weeks. Guess we'll see how I do!

Hi all! I'm a 23 year old grad student looking to drop about 20-30lbs. I would also love some friends! Adds welcome :D

Hey! I'm a 23 year old 2nd year grad student with two jobs and research. Looking for friends who agree that being busy is no excuse :)
-
Me too guys! I'm 23, currently living in Chicago, and looking to lose anywhere from 15-30 lbs, depending on how I feel once I get there. I have family in New England, so does that count as similar enough to the original poster? :P

I don't think you're ridiculous. I eat this way too. I have since high school. Seafood and poultry, but no beef, pork, venison, etc etc. :)
