It sounds crazy I know. Based on my own experiences I'd say your likely not eating enough. Your body will shut down and store fat(causing a gain) if it feels as it isn't been feed enough. I suggest slowing adding cals you may see a slight gain at first so maybe ignore the scale for 2 weeks but then it will come off again.

I did not meet mine this year. I didnt think I would either how ever... In late March I decided to get moving and at that point I had around 100 lbs to lose. Over this year I have lost about 55 lbs. So this coming year the rest of it will come off!! Congrats to all of those who met there goals!!

My husband has been told that if you are trying to lose weight as well as build muscle ("ripped") that for most people it is best to lose the weight and then focus on building the muscle. My opinion- If you want to do it then do it! I did one this year, my only one. I walk/jogged all of it. The time was not that important to me just that I finished it!

I prefer the elliptical. The treadmill really hurts my feet and knees. I guess if you have one at home and the option to use the other at a gym. I personally would not invest in a new machine

You CAN lose it!! Think of how good you will feel once you have! It is hard to heat hurtful things try to turn it into motivation!!
