I just enter what I eat and even though MFP won't publish it ... it can still be seen from my friends if they choose by going to my profile page. I had gastric sleeve surgery due to serious health problems and can't eat a whole lot. But I would never add food I didn't eat. MFP angers me because of this. I am being…

I am a Vegan and have been since May 2016. Please feel free to add me. I am always looking for new friends for motivation. I am proud of ALL of you! For caring about the animals. My diary is for friends only but MFP won't post it because they say I don't eat enough calories but due to serious health issues I had the…

If you add me as a friend, please indicate in a message you are vegan or a veggie. I have other friends also who are carnivores. I don't judge. This is my thing and I do it for my own personal ethical reasons. I am 59 and live in South Florida. Thanks!

I have been Vegan since May 2016 and won't ever look back. I am open to meeting new friends so add me if you'd like. I am recently back on MFP since 2009. I also had gastric sleeve surgery due to serious health issues and have lost 40 pounds, Yay! I have hypertension, diabetes, vascular and kidney disease but am working…

I walk with Leslie Sansone in my house. She has a great 2 mile walk that gets the heart pumped up. You might want to consider that. It takes 1/2 hour to do the DVD and like I said, it's equivalent to 2 miles. But it's actually low impact aerobics because she has you doing walking, side steps, leg lifts, etc. She's great…

I'll send you a friend request. I will give you support but I also need it back. I am close to 200 pounds now and want to lose 50. I just started back again this week. How I will do it is to eat around 1200-1400 calories per day and do 1/2 of low impact aerobics 4 - 5 times per week. I'm 56 and menopausal so it takes me a…

A good choice is Moo goo gai pan. It's a chicken dish and is very delicious. Not too bad on calories. Stay away from boneless pork ribs.

Bravo, I couldn't have said it better myself

I have lost all faith in Florida too. I live in this state and it's an embarrassment. There are no morals, scruples, and oh the corruption is horrible. Zimmerman was told by the 911 operator not to follow Trayvon. He was a neighborhood watch and not a cop. He did his job by contacting 911. How can there be self defense…

Any Leslie Sansone walking DVD. With her you can walk 2 or 3 miles. Back in 2011 I walked 47 pounds off while doing her aerobic routine. She's a great motivator. And it's low impact.

I agree with many of the other posts. Please stop watching FOX news.

Hi there, I've been doing Atkins for about 15 days and lost 5 pounds. I have a real problem losing weight on a low calorie diet that consists of carbs. I have been doing low calorie for months with very little results. Atkins is the best diet I have tried and it really does work. But you have to stay strict with it. Good…

Thanks. It sounds delicious!! Avocado is real good for the liver. I'll definitely try it. :flowerforyou:

Since starting Atkins I have been pre-planning every morning for the day. It keeps me accountable. I have been doing this for 5 days so far and it works!!!

I have a similar story. I started MFP in 2011 and lost 47 pounds. I got a sport injury and had to stop exercising. I got completely frustrated and binged my way back to my original weight in 2012-2013. Now I am trying to do Atkins and gain control. I probably have BED. It's very discouraging  I find that lower carb…

We just came back from a trip on American Airlines 767 and my husband weighs 280 pounds. We flew in coach. He was not uncomfortable in his seat. I sat next to him and he didn't invade my space. Congratulations on your win. I wish you the best of luck!!! Also, congratulations on losing 200 pounds

I would be glad to be your friend and encourage you. I had a surgical hysterectomy many years ago but didn't actually go into menopause until 10 years ago. The reason is because they left an ovary in but it finally stopped working around 2003 :frown: It's frustrating isn't it??? Keep your chin up and do the best you can.…

I'm in the same boat and it's very very frustrating. I started on MFP March 2011 and lost 47 pounds that year. My starting weight was 197. So I got down to 150. Then, BAM!!!! in February 2012 I got a very bad case on shin splints from working out and I had to stop working out. I gained most of the weight back. I still…
