I agree. I started the P90X program and was discouraged when I gained 3 pounds, so I took away my scale and vowed to only weigh myself once a month. Its worked out great! I highly recommend it!

I'm starting P90X tomorrow and I'm both nervous and excited. I cant wait for the challenge and the help in losing my last 40 pounds, but nervous that the program calculated wants me to be intaking 2400 calories, when I'm used to intaking only 1200. Feel free to add me and we can journey down this path together!!

I'm at 1200 daily calories and don't eat back my exercise calories. I only work out 4x a week and if I were to eat them back on those days I would most likely overeat on the days I don't exercise. So, for me, I don't I stay as close to 1200/day and when I'm feeling a little hungry I drink a glass of water instead....it…

That's great! Way to instill great habits now. My 2 year old attempts to work out with me by dancing to Zumba, and she does her "cunches" and "ush umps"...LOL

I HATE working out with people, although I enjoy having support I feel that I don't get a great workout when I do it with friends. I feel that I have to scale back my weights so that I don't intimidate them, and I feel that I have to go beyond my comfort zone when running to keep up with my more advanced "cardio" friends!…
