I guess squats and lunges it is! I'm really suprised with all the running that I do that that hasn't really helped in toning my thighs. I'll have to try speed walking maybe before and after my runs. Thank you to those who said I look good, that's always nice to hear!

When I started running I had to go up a whole shoe size in order to keep my toes from hurting.

Can you eat with your daughter instead of after she's in bed? That may free up at least 30 minutes. You could get a workout dvd and exercise at home.

I had this problem when I started running. I ended up buying a bigger size shoe and now my toes are fine.

Lol not only fit people work out at gyms. If you'd get up and go, you'd see that the gym is full of people trying to do the same thing you are, lose weight! We all have bad days, don't get discouraged. You can do it! 22 pounds in 6 weeks is amazing!

One more thing, I have noticed that alot of the fat free stuff is higher in sodium than the regular so I usually stick with somewhere in the middle. Take cream cheese for example, instead of getting fat free, I get 1/3 less fat.

I've been going to Planet Fitness for about a year now. It's great for working out on machines or doing weights. As long as your within your calorie range it doesn't matter. Sometimes I eat late, sometimes I don't. For me, when I eat has never affected my weight loss.

Everyone is different. For me, I'm definitely pear shape so it always come off my stomach first. My thighs and butt are the last to see anything.

I love going alone! I've got a three and four year old who run me wild all day long, my hour at the gym gives me just a little bit of time to myself. Also I find when I do go with a friend we end up talking too much and I really don't get that good of a work out in.
