I just tried this recipe last week from another post and I like your idea about the tomato sauce with garlic. I just used regular spaghetti sauce and it was lacking a little flavor. I was thinking of adding something like garlic to the cream cheese/cottage cheese mixture because the spaghetti sauce kind of just stayed on top and didn't mix those flavors well. Or maybe mix a little of the sauce in the bowl with the cheese mixture. As you said, you can easily customize it. I decided to use ziti instead of spaghetti because the calories per serving were the same and they really held the sauce well. I will try your changes the next time I make it!0

I made this last night and it was GREAT!! I even added some grated zuccini to the meat and sauce mixture for added veggies. DELISH!!1

I'm so glad that everyone is enjoying it. And it's so cool to see the variations that everyone else is coming up with to try.
I LOVE to take recipes that everyone loves and make a healthy version. I've begun doing that for "sweets" and comfort foods and now have a bunch of my friends from Zumba requesting that I make things for them using my "skills" lol.
