Definitely some ball handling....dribbling, giving and receiving passes, trapping with feet, chest, thigh, head, etc. It may seem foreign at first, but I'm sure you'll be great in no time. Enjoy! I've played my entire life and I'm still loving it!

CONGRATULATIONS, YOU GORGEOUS WOMAN!!!!!

Lucky girl!

Yes....what arielle said. You want to do resistance first to get your heart going for about 30 minutes, then go right to your cardio and you'll be in prime fat-burning mode.

Last week: 156 This week: 156 No change :( Met the water challenge. Happy Friday, everybody!!

Congratulations, lady! Great results! I'm right behind you and I agree...I can't wait to do another round.

I don't think you sounded rude at all, but I'm sure it's easy for words or tone to be misinterpreted in such a forum. Sometimes we all need reminding that it really doesn't take much time or effort to make the right choices when you think about it.

Here is a link to a description of P90X's Core Synergistics workout. It's my favorite P90X workout. Tough, but you can really feel it working. I hope it gives you some ideas. http://www.wellsphere.com/exercise-article/p90x-review-day-8-core-synergistics/9917

That sounds really good. I love those Sandwich Thins...use them all the time. For breakfast I'll throw one of those, some turkey bacon, and an egg on the griddle and top with some Frank's hot sauce for a yummy little breakfast sandwich.

It is absolutely a good idea to replace a couple days a week of cardio with weight/resistance training. I understand your aversion to squats, lunges, weights, etc but there is no denying their effectiveness. Why don't you try a little circuit training a couple times a week when you are alternating resistance training…

Welcome! 35-year old mother of 2 here. Down to my last 10 pounds or so. Would love to have you as a friend.

That sounds yummy! I'll have to try it.

I'm doing ok. On day 72 today and haven't missed a workout yet. I haven't been great with my diet the last two weekends, so I actually gained a couple pounds back, but hopefully I'll lose it over the next few weeks.

Completed P90X Chest and Back yesterday, plus Ab Ripper X which is basically the equivalent of 300 situps, so I'm good there. Played soccer last night, then did Cardio X this morning. Drank way too much this past weekend, so I know I have to work extra hard this week if I want to see some movement on the scale.

Hey, every bit of exercise counts! Work it!

Really, only you can decide what is too much. If you are able to complete both, then it sounds like you can handle it just fine. Some soreness at the beginning of any training program is to be expected...I imagine it will subside after a few days or a week. As long as you are fueling your workouts with enough healthy food,…

Glad to hear your MIL is recovering well. Your workouts will be there for you when you're ready.

It is meant to be a consecutive 90 days, so he wouldn't want to start, then stop, then start again. May be best to start after vacation. He could do it in a hotel room (I do it in my bedroom) but he'll need a pull-up bar. If he's already in good shape he should do the Classic version.

Good for you!

That's a great idea. Just eat the meat and the veggies, try to watch the extras like the cheese and sour cream maybe. Have fun!

I am on day 67 of my first round of P90x Lean version. As of last week, I dropped 14 pounds and have noticed a big difference both in my appearance and my strength. I was in pretty good shape to begin with, but had put on some extra pounds from poor food choices. The P90x, in combination with monitoring my food intake on…
