  • There is a place near me that has low carb sushi. All fish inside the roll and no rice. Very good. You can taste all the flavors of the fish. I would suggest you go to a good sushi restaurant and ask the waitress if there is any without the rice
  • I never thought of roasting them. I was happy to just make hummus and have them in soups and salads. This is now on my list for tomorrow
  • I have found if I have a glass in my hand noone usually cares. If you want it to look like a drink have ginger ale with a splash of cranberry and a lime. I was out singing karaoke with my niece (23yr old and doesnt drink at all) until midnight and we both felt like we had a hangover the next day. I still have a fantastic…

  • Does your town have a food cupboard or a FOODSHARE kind of service. The one in my town distribut food twice a month and it is usually a good amount and pretty healthy. Mine is run by some churches but you could check with the community/senior center or maybe your town website (if you have one). If this embarrasses you…

  • I love to walk and take hikes on the great trails in the area. I live in Stafford so I am just down the road from you. Unfortunatly I am home during the day and I have a hard time finding people with the same schedule as me. Let me know if you would be interested in a small hike, we went camping near Ashford a few weekends…
  • I am planning on doing this too with my daughter and some friends. I started a jogging program since I have never jogged (any distance) before and I am not signing up until I am closer to the time. My group I believe is starting at 915 though. I will have to double check this.

On a training session with myself and a trainer I was using the treadmill and elliptical for maybe 45 minutes and it was about 350-400(I can't remember the exact)…

  • I try to have a salad every day. A very full salad with everything I could possibly like. If I am using an oil and vinegar dressing I will put in some flavored hummus and it turns the dressing into a creamy version. Today I bought some horseradish for my husband and thought I would try that. It really made it pop!!! right…
  • My brother was stationed in Alaska and that is where he first did it. I don't know if I could bring myself to take the plunge in your area :grumble: I don't mean for this man to be grumbling I am using him as a very cold person

  • I stopped going to Zumba because of my back and went to a chiropractor. I didn't like having to go to him every week and so stopped.
