  • Is there anywhere to look for calorie amounts for non-exclusive breastfeeding? for toddlers.
  • so next time you try, you might manage 18 minutes, and the next 20, and so on - don't give up :)
  • I had a teenager shout "run fat a**" at me when I was out running and all I can think was that even when trying to insult me he described what I was doing as running! not jogging, not wogging, not walking, not a weird duck waddle, but running! yay! :D
  • I like the look of these, but I've not tried them http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=385775001455533&set=a.369095123123521.89771.369026409797059&type=3&theater Chia Seed Pudding (GF) Ingredients 1/4 cup chia seeds 1 1/2 cups almond milk 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon 1-2 drops of liquid stevia Instructions 1. • There was an interesting documentary I watched where they gave two groups of people exactly the same meal for lunch, except one group had it as a meal, with a couple of glasses of water, and one group had it all blended up including the water, into a soup. The group that are the soup felt fuller for longer. The reason…
  • could be all sorts of things, passing a kidney stone, a kidney infection, back problems, gallstones, ovaries, or, it could be nothing at all don't second guess it, get it checked out
  • I'd just bought two massive tubs before I found out I was pregnant - I'm now 17 weeks, and they're sat unopened. I did some reading online, and though there's nothing to say that they aren't safe to use, there haven't been tests done, and I'm generally avoiding as much processed food and extra additives as I can. I don't…
  • I'd quite like one of those underwater breathers in James Bond. The tiny ones that give continuous air without the need for a tank. Either that or Potter's invisibility cloak or the marauders map would be cool.
  • My fb page is just that, MY fb page. If I make a post and it bugs someone or bores someone, then they can delete me, or unsubscribe. I don't air my dirty laundry in public, or post a lot of personal details and then whinge that people know my business. I'm selective who sees what fb status, but you know what, sometimes…
  • Due 15th December - my first
  • I'm 15 weeks and I've gained 4lbs. The problem with that is it probably hides the true fat gain, because I stopped exercising for several of those week meaning my muscle will have dropped a lot, and I've probably gained more fat :( Ah well, not too worried, now I'm feeling better I'm starting to watch what I eat more…

  • I've not read all the replies but I wanted to post and congratulate you on looking at this sensibly and logically and not burying your head in the sand. You'll go a long way :) And I'm saying this having just found out my 19year old nephew has just got fired for stealing money and is currently locked up in jail in a…
  • Something about this doesn't sit right with me. For a start, you say on your profile you want to lose another 19lbs or there abouts?
  • I love the promax chocolate and orange meal bars (though I dont replace a meal with them, I just use them on hikes etc)
  • a red minus figures means you've eaten over your net target I dont know where you see all your 7 days net cals at once, apart from on a graph, and on the graph it doesn't show you the red/green -/+ figures
  • In theory, you should be eating the 1700. MFp has already calculated a safe amount of calories for your body to live on, and lose weight safely - you xercise, your body needs more to survive, so you eat more. The problem with this, is that you need to make sure that you are accurately measuring your calorie intake AND your…
  • When I started I found the week1day1 jog sections very hard. A few weeks ago, I ran my first non-stop 5k (5.5k actually :D ). Slow it down, jog a little over walking pace, and build it up. You WILL get there! EDIT: Some people have said repeat days of the C25k - whilst I like the idea, what I found more useful for myself,…
  • why? please rethink this losing it slowly, and steadily, is the healthiest way to do it, and the way to learn as much as possible about healthy eating and exercise and good portion sizes etc etc to be able to keep it off
  • Interested to read the answers to this. Been debating a body pump class myself and wasn't sure for the same reasons!
  • why not? I loved not having a cycle
  • this :) 5 years, no periods, no side effects, 20seconds of pain to be put in, 5 seconds of pain to be taken out what's not to love and if you don't love it, have it taken out - not like things like the Depo shot that have to wear off
  • Kirsty, 34 :) 1. I have a not-so-secret crush on David Tennant as Dr Who (I'm a sucker for a man with sarcasm and a naughty twinkle in his eye) 2. I once tried out to be an air traffic controller (and got down to the third round from several hundred people to less than 10), when I'd previously had no thoughts of wanting to…
  • Eating lots of sweets and sugar might help you put on weight, but not the right sort of weight. Do you know why you're under weight? Have you consulted a doctor? I see you're a referee so you no doubt run around a lot. Focus on calorie dense foods that are full of nutrients, instead of empty calories.

  • Does lemon juice count as a condiment? If not, probably mayo so I could still have tuna and mayo. Otherwise, soy sauce or hoi sin sauce.
  • I'd advise you to rethink this. Please don't wait until you reach a "healthier weight". Losing weight without doing any strength training means you are losing muscle mass and tone in the process. Start the strength training now, and you'll retain more muscle, even if you can't see it properly yet.
  • When you first start running, 3 minutes is a LOT!!!! And not necessarily due to fitness. Try doing 1 minute jogs with 1 1/2 min walks and work up from there. ps When I first started, I found jogging the full minute hard, I was counting down the second from 30seconds in! Two weeks ago, I ran 5.5km non-stop in around…
  • I wouldn't skip dinner. This is a learning exercise. You could exercise to "earn" dinner, or you could accept that you wont get it right every day.
  • Charity runs are the perfect environment for your first "race". I can guarantee you wont be the only one there that has never done the distance before. I expect some wont even set out to run it, but walk it all.
